"My daughter started dancing at PCPDC 2.5 years ago. She has danced elsewhere, but no place that feels like family the way PCPDC does. The owner is so warm and kind. Becky (the owner) really promotes the family environment every parent wants for their child. The teachers work with the students at a personal level that brings out the best in each and every student. The dancers flourish as a result. My daughter dances on the Competition team and the girls on the team are like sisters. Again , it is a family environment. The teachers do an excellent job teaching award winning choreography and building up confident competitive dancers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PCPDC for your dancer of any age or ability"
"Brought my 3 year old daughter here and couldn't be more disappointed. Including my disappointment in Google that won't let me rank zero stars. She did fine the first couple of weeks, but last week got shy all of a sudden and wouldn't participate. So she just watched the class. This week it was the same thing, but we noticed it wasn't until the teacher, Karen, walked in. Before that, she was fine and excited. This week, after class ended, my wife tried talking to the instructor for advice, asking "Do you think she's just shy, with everyone looking at her?" The teacher's response was to kneel down to my daughter's face and say "I can tell you what. Everybody's staring at her now, because all she did was sit in the corner and open and close the door. Open and close the door. Open and close the door. Open and close the door. Next week you have to stand on the yellow dot." Waving her finger in her face the entire time. I understand some places have a higher standard. But my daughter is 3. You have a teacher there for very young children, she'd better have a much better demeanor and way more patience. I understand it's a more professional dance studio, but if you don't have someone teaching the class that can treat their students better, you shouldn't have a program for anyone that young."
