"I’ve had plenty of bad experiences at this place but the worst was when I was in a car accident and hurt my back very badly. I was brought in by ambulance and I couldn’t walk or even sit up. The charge nurse forced me to get up, literally pulled me up by my arms trying to make me sit up as I was screaming and crying for her to stop, the pain was unbearable. She told me the ER was too busy and my case wasn’t very serious and they were calling me a cab to take me home. She acted like I was faking and treated me like garbage. I begged to get an MRI because something was seriously wrong. It took quite a fight to get one. Lo and behold I had multiple herniated disks and I was hospitalized for 3 1/2 days. I never caught the nurses name but she was terrible and had no regard for my pain. She should be fired and her license should be stripped for treating patients like that."
"Called late in the night after my daughter spent a night there. I was going to ask a question about her medication but the minute I asked a question when they answered I was told "I don't care" and was hung up on. This hospital is ridiculous."
"Aurora does not care about their patients. They care about money and only money. There are a few good nurses there that will go out of their way to help you. But overall their ICU need to show more compassion. I saw one worker at the desk playing video game on her cell phone and another time there was a girl dancing and fooling around for her coworkers and dance into my husband room not knowing I was there and my husband was in a coma . She walk out after she notice me. This is ICU where people are dying and the workers fooling around not doing their job. My husband died in their hospital and three day after the hospital send the bills to a collection agency. The bills haven’t even been processed by the insurance company yet. But they wanted to make sure they got their money. I seriously would consider a different hospital that not associated with Aurora."
