Ascension St. John Hospital Health Center at Kercheval

"I received an outpatient service at the Grosse Pointe location. This is a covered benefit under my BCBS insurance. There was a billing issue which myself and BCBS tried to resolve but all of their billing is done overseas and no one is able to assist. You cannot reach anyone who works at the hospital. I have to file a formal complaint and a dispute it with my insurance company to attempt to resolve the issue. I did receive a response to this rating, as everyone can see, and then received a phone call Wednesday at 1:36 pm from someone who stated someone else would be reaching out to me to resolve the issue. It is now Friday 2/1/24 at 3:30 and no phone call."

"Soon as my mom and I walked in I picked up a racist feeling from the lady with the black hair that sits at the side desk. She didn't greet us as she turned to walk away to get something off a desk and when I turned around she had a nasty snarled look turning up her lips at us, didn't speak I was about to ask a question when she cut me off telling me to sign in and very nasty way shoved a small piece of paper to log in at the kiosk in a nasty tone. I don't normally complain but I know this lady has a problem with black ppl very noticable and plus the paper she gave me with the code said mammy"

"The doctors office was easy to find, nice, friendly, clean, and prompt. The ladies at the lab counter should be nicer to patients and more accommodating instead of abrupt and short!"
