"I took my 8 year old son to get his eyes examined yesterday and the wait time was terrible (3 hours) the waiting rooms were filled to capacity and didn’t seem to have any COVID guidelines besides wearing a mask. The doctor was very impatient and rough with my son and i was not a fan of his practice or energy. I would recommend taking young children somewhere more pleasant and patient. Particularly a doctor who isn’t over 60 and has more patience and enlightened energy."

"Dr Giles is a fantastic physician. He corrected a macular issue my daughter had when she was very little. She’s a teen ager now and has had no issues since that surgery. He is an extremely kind man and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my daughter’s young eyes. He always was respectful to both my wife and I and more importantly our daughter. Dr Giles always provided exceptional communication and care when testing and treating her. The Kresge Eye Institute is very disorganised and hard to navigate. Their website is outdated and difficult to get around and find anything. The reception staff aren’t rude but they also aren’t very helpful. Please don’t let this detract from Dr Giles or how he treats patients. Sadly his skills and attention to patients haven’t trickled down to some of the staff."

"Most disorganized doctor's office or practice that I have ever dealt with. I've spent over two weeks trying to get somebody to contact me to get my daughter's medical history forwarded to a new doctor because these people obviously are not on top of their game. We have an appointment with a new doctor today and yet to have her medical files sent over there for them to review. How disappointing. Also it was recommended that my daughter coming every 3 months for a checkup to monitor changes in her eyes and the last two appointments that we have they had canceled and they failed to contact me and let me know that they cancel the appointment. If you're looking for top service and attention to details and organization, don't go here."
