"Dr. Roger Silverstein doesn’t need to work with kids ever. I will go to every extent to report him after how he treated my child. I was recommended here, and thought as a Pediatrician I would get the best care for my son… WRONG! My son came in for a sick appt, and although the medical assistant was great! Roger was absolutely absurd. He treated my 2 year old child like he was an NFL player. As a grown man, how can you not handle treating a sick toddler? Why are you telling us to put all our weight on him, and saying things like “he’s strong”. My child was NOT even moving. I was holding him. You should be stronger than a toddler anyway, Roger. He yelled at his medical assistant to hold his arms up, and his tone was short and unpleasant with me as well. He stuck a stick down my son’s throat while LAYING DOWN.. what licensed doctor does that???? He made my son THROW UP. My son had an ear infection, and he didn’t care, he used all his force to shove the ear thing in my son’s ear, causing him to scream. It took all of me to keep my composure, and when I told him what he did, he didn’t care, and said things such as “I can send his medical records wherever you’d like”, and said his medical assistant was “new” and “didn’t know anything” when I told him how even she was shook at his behavior. She kept apologizing to me, but it’s not her fault.. it’s HIS. And after reading some of these reviews, he needs his license reviewed, and I will NEVER come back to this trash again. Shame on you, Roger. You make doctors look bad. Please, don’t ever work with kids again. Shame on you. I will be reporting him everywhere I can. I am disgusted, upset, and disappointed. And my son is distraught after this treatment. The office may not care, but as parents, do NOT take your child here if you want a pediatrician who works well with kids. There are far more better doctors who are actually MEANT to work with kids. The person who referred me will also be calling the office. 0/5 STARS!! Oh & he also ALWAYS says my son’s name wrong. Every visit. And even after I correct him, he says it wrong. And imagine that.. my son is a little black boy getting his name said wrong by his white doctor. Smh. Shame on you, Roger."
"Our Daughter has been attending Medical Center Pediatrics for 2 years and just sent an email saying they WILL NO LONGER accept our employer provided insurance and to pick a new carrier... when we only have one option to pick. When I called to ask them why, they specifically stated it "was better for the doctors families." Fantastic, I am sure this greatly benefits the doctors and how much money they make; however, it nicely screws over the families that cannot just choose their insurance on a whim. Zero stars for reducing insurance companies they accept."
"UPDATE: The reply from the practice below is, unfortunately, pure lip service. We wrote a letter to the practice and submitted it to the portal, it went unaddressed for two weeks so we called and asked to discuss our experience. The office manager was dismissive and called the care we received “adequate” despite the misdiagnosis (of a condition that only a specialist could accurately diagnose after performing a scope). ORIGINAL REVIEW: Misdiagnosed, led astray with confidence, citing nonexistent “research”… typical doctor BS. I was a patient at this practice myself as a child and had a good experience, but that was a decades ago. I am now a mere 7 weeks into being a father and have already been burned by the practitioner our daughter has been seeing multiple times. Do yourself a favor and find a different pediatrician."
"Wish I could give zero stars. We are first time parents and took our newborn daughter to see Dr Chaundhry. We were concerned about our daughter’s noisy breathing and were continuously waved off. We took her for a second opinion and were immediately referred to an ENT. the ENT diagnosed her with a textbook case of laryngomalacia, which can be dangerous if left untreated. We also received poor advice for which formula to feed her — based on ZERO facts. this practice is a factory unwilling to think outside the textbook. I wrote the practice an email outlining the reasons for our departure hoping they would integrate our experience with future patients — no response. Then they have the audacity to mail me a bill for “services”. Don’t waste your time here — Find a different practice to take your newborn."
"Since covid (2 years) they do not let you wait in the waiting room. My daughter was getting antsy in the car so I went inside to wait with her in the hallway, they came out to tell me I cannot wait there (alone except for exiting and entering patients.) My daughter had an ear infection and they wanted to test for covid despite having an ear infection. When I declined, I was told that I can't send my kid to school for 10 days even though that's not their call, it's the school policy's call. They seem to have forgotten about taking care of patients and started preaching. I'm very disappointed."
