"I have been bringing my children here since my first child was born 14 years ago. Throughout the years I absolutely loved all of the staff here that we have interacted with. I have recently had to find another place to take my newborn because they no longer accept the insurance we have, but my others were grandfathered in. Unfortunately, I ended up needing to transfer all of them to the new pediatrician because we were told that they now need to have all recommended vaccines by the fda or they will be discharged as patients there. Even though they are only recommended. I know what each clinic gets paid per vaccination and I also know that it does not matter either way if a child is or isn’t vaccinated. The only difference is I’m not risking any injuries or ailments anymore, when before I was very unaware of how dangerous they can be. I was made to feel as if I was wrong in my thinking and concerns, but I’m listening to that instinct as a mother from now on. I have found an amazing office who does not put pressure on parents and is not requiring any vaccines because they clearly care about the parents and not just the extra money. Such a shame."

"Absolutely love the doctors, we transferred over with Krissy from her last office & we couldn’t be happier to do so. Krissy takes her time with each child & talks me through everything. The random sick visits, if Krissy is out of office that day or booked, we’ve seen other doctors there that have also been wonderful with each child."

"Krissy holt needs to be fired. My daughter had a fever and wasn’t eating or drinking starting Wednesday we called spoke to the nurses hotline explain our daughter had strep 10 days ago and just finished amoxicillin and she’s not feeling the best they said watch her if anything gets worse come in. So Thursday morning she starts having diarrhea, not eating or drink at all so we made an appointment to take her in. Our appt was at 4:45 so almost closing time. This woman comes in, looks at her for maybe a minute and says she probably has C. Diff but we won’t know anything until next week because I have to take a sample to a lab. Says she’ll write a script and then leaves the room. The nurse comes in with the script and I’m like hey, is the doctor coming back because I have a million questions. She said she’d ask, she comes back with a strep test and says well she said we can test her for strep again. I said no that’s not what I want, I have no idea what C. Diff is and what do I do about my currently sick child?? Thankfully I listened to my parent gut because now we are in the ER. She’s dehydrated and on an IV and when we told them that her pediatrician said C Diff she almost laughed and said that children very rarely get it. Im just floored at the way we were dismissed and she wouldn’t even come back when I asked. My biggest issue with this woman is my child was severely dehydrated so much so that when we got to children’s hospital they could tell by looking at her. Krissy holt did not at all do her job as a provider and properly check her out she sent us home and told us to do a still sample if we would have trusted her and waited until Tuesday for results my daughter would have went into kidney failure. Mind you we immediately went to children’s hospital and spent 36 hours on a IV drip and Krissy thought she was good enough to last till Tuesday. The office as a whole is great we have been coming there for years. After posting our frustrations on Facebook several parents have come forward and expressed similar misdiagnosis made by her and awful care. You are entrusted to take care of children and when you brush off parents and aren’t thorough in your exams, you should not allowed to treat children again. If I were a stupid person and listened to your professional opinion and waited I could have lost my daughter. I just want you guys to hear me, Krissy I hope you read this don’t do this to another family. We will be reporting this to the state nursing board."

"The staff was friendly and helpful! Dr. O’Connell is amazing, hands down! I recommend Woodhaven Peds and Dr.O 100% Dr.O’Connell takes her time, listens to her patients and their parents concerns. She doesn’t just give meds and send you on your way! She cares about her patients health, mentally and physically. I can’t say enough good things about her. We’ve been seeing her since my oldest was 4, she is now 22. My twins are 16 and the thought of them not seeing her anymore makes me sad. It’s hard to find a good doctor!! I would recommend Dr. O to anyone!!"

"I was keeping this location because I liked the doctors. After today, I will certainly seeking out new pediatricians for my children. Because they were unsure about my last name, the receptionist canceled and gave away my appointments. I was recently there last week with another youngster and didn't experience any problems. I've been coming there for 7 years and have never had a problem. Cancelling my appointment on the same day is completely inappropriate."
