"If I could give 0 stars I would. Very unprofessional front office staff and doctor (Dr. Kuet). They started a friend of mine on a new medication, and then didn’t answer requests to make a follow-up appointment or put any effort into making sure one was scheduled on their own behalf. Now they are refusing to refill that medication until her next appointment which turns out is weeks away from when she ran out, which is causing her to experience some serious withdrawal symptoms. No effort on their part to try and fix the situation or help her. It is not a medication you just stop taking, and they should know that! As an RN myself, it is absolutely ridiculous. Not a respectable doctor or office. Do not recommend at all."
"I was billed a copay of $200 to see a primary doctor and had a bad experience with that doctor. He seemed disinterested in my needs, performed a cursory exam. and didn’t make eye contact. The discharge paperwork did not include a diagnosis or any care instructions, as in I was given pages that had only my name and vital signs. The $200 copay is more than would be required for an emergency department visit. A primary care copay is $20. My insurance paid $88 and I was billed $112. After disputing they now say I owe $61.50. Bad experience and customer service."
"Would not recommend if you suspect you have histamine intolerance. Would not recommend for anything, actually. Staff was very condescending. The person who scheduled my appointment swore up and down that the doctors at this location were HI-informed. Apparently not. However, please keep in mind that we live in a country with a for-profit healthcare system, so the staff at many medical facilities are more than likely trained to say pretty much anything to get you into the office. I had learned this the hard way earlier this year. Since this would have been a 2-hour drive for me, I wanted direct confirmation from my doctor that she would be willing to treat me prior to making the drive. After a week of repeatedly asking/borderline begging nursing staff to put me on the phone with my doctor, I received a very vague, dismissive reply from Dr. Wang, in which she neither confirmed nor denied that she would treat me for HI. "You are welcome to make your appointment elsewhere. Wishing you the best." Are you kidding me? Side note -- I also had to explain a very basic medical phrase to one of the RNs, which was the first red flag. Again, for-profit healthcare system...hiring a staff of inept, inexperienced individuals at lower salaries = more profit for those at the top. If someone can't answer basic questions for you, get out of there. If you are someone with HI scrolling through reviews right now, I hope you are able to find a doctor who believes that your illness is real, that you are suffering, and that you deserve to feel better. I wanted to wait on this review until I had found someone like this and had a recommendation -- since there are so few of them out there -- but sadly, that probably won't be happening anytime soon. The only clinic I've found that has 100% confirmed that all staff are HI-informed is the Boro Clinic (Tennessee). Unfortunately, I'm too sick to travel now, so I can't recommend from personal experience. I wish you the best."
"I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment, after 1.5 HOURS of waiting I was told that the person who was supposed to do my test left for an emergency. It is unacceptable to waste a patients time. Someone had to have known that she left and still had patients left yet I received no phone call to inform me that my test couldn’t be completed. I took 1/2 day off of work, was not allowed to eat prior and drove an hour to have this test done. Needless to say, I am not a happy customer. I also felt that the customer service representative who came to tell me was less than sincere in her apology. They wouldn’t even reschedule my appointment for me, instead I was given a card with a number and was told to call and reschedule. The least they could have done was call and reschedule it for me. Of course when I called that number all I got was a voicemail. As an RN, I was less than expressed with the entire experience today. The only positive was the pleasant receptionist who checked me in and the other receptionist who tried to find out what was going on."
"Almost a year later I'm getting billed for a medical infusion that happens bimonthly. I do get co-pay reimbursement from pfizer due to the crazy costs but you need to submit for this within 180 days and this is now way outside this window and the entire cost falls on me. I've tried working with billings to work something out as this is completely out of my control but they're some of the rudest people and have now resorted to blaming me for being uninsured and not enrolled within this program. That is completely wrong as I've been doing these infusions for years. It's very unfortunate as I love the doctors and nurses here but I would recommend any other location. And to echo what others have said, the lab is terrible and one of last few times they were so rough, they poked a nerve or something in my arm and the pain lasted for months. I'm not afraid of needles but they give me pause now"
