"Very nice staff with lots of compassion and patience. I really appreciate how much effort they put into accommodating my anxiety and sensory sensitivites and making sure I was comfortable. My one suggestion though is to make sure you double check your contact info. A receptionist got my number wrong and almost caused me to miss out on cancellation updates (she didn't read it back). Thank goodness I asked at the end of my appointment to make sure the number was correct."
"Everyone is so kind! Super helpful and responsive. Thank you! Update: 2/19 On January 22nd I had an appt I missed because I showed up on the wrong day. I called twice and left a message and heard nothing back. They didn’t call me or text when I missed the appt. I did what I could to communicate that I missed one and heard nothing from their end. Then, I went in for my 2/14 appt. that was scheduled a couple months ago. When I got there, the woman at the from desk (who was very kind) said for some reason it was cancelled, but not by me. No issue! I said, weird but okay well let’s reschedule that. She said, “I’ll just send you a text or call so you don’t have to stand and wait here on Valentine’s Day.” Okay awesome thanks. The next text I get was yesterday 2/18 (a Sunday) that they were excited to see me for my appointment tomorrow. I thought, okay interesting, I never scheduled an appt?? So I responded to the text with “can I reschedule?” Of course they are closed on the weekend right, that’s standard. I get a response the following morning, (now today, the morning of the appt) saying if I cancel or reschedule I will be dropped for two cancellations or infractions in one YEAR. now, I completely understand this policy. A lot of people need dental work. I understand. However, I didn’t make the appt. I never confirmed an appt. All I got was a reminder text about said appt. Now at 8:00am, right when they open, i call and explain everything I’ve said here. Long story short, i was very respectful and asked to speak to the manager. She basically said: I wasn’t there for the scheduling on 2/14 (that did not happen) and the text sent on my end. Obviously, it did not. In the end she said there was nothing she could do. No empathy, no kindness, no appreciation for the customer. From not calling me on a missed appointment, to not responding to a voicemail, to scheduling me an appointment I can’t make and never asked me about???? This whole experience was embarrassing for them. You did nothing but lose a customer and your reputation. I hope no one else experiences this type of lack of communication and lack of empathy. After everything and talking to my friend and dad for advice, i called back and said I wouldn’t make it in and that I was disappointed because I had a good experience up until this point. She didn’t really seem to care, which I to some extent, i understand as a fellow service worker. I just felt I was quite respectful when speaking or communicating to anyone in this office and was not given the same respect back. As for MCDC, if you read this, im good but like change your policy. Or at least make it a little more circumstantial. This was a miss on your end and you should absolutely refrain from this in the future. Send emails and texts, call when scheduling appts, do something that can be fact checked and back tracked. This miscommunication was a huge miss and very disappointing. Unfortunately I will not be back. Autumn, a dental hygienist or assistant in there, super nice lady, she’s great and will be missed. Thank you to literally only her."
