"This place was great when they had enough staff. Unfortunately, their best NP, Claire, left. And they advertise fertility care clinics to help you help yourself, but they don’t actually work with these fertility care people so even if you’ve been doing something that’s working for you, Arbor Woman won’t help you in that. I had Dr. Hickner several years ago diagnosed me with severe PMS (PMDD) and prescribe me my progesterone. He took labs and did all the legwork. I just recently received a message saying that maybe I don’t have severe PMS maybe I just have depression and she’s no longer going to refill my progesterone unless my hormone levels indicate I have severe PMS… Even though Dr. Hickner previously diagnosed me with severe PMS, otherwise known as PMDD, which does not go away, does not have a cure, and worsen with age. So additional labs are pointless. I tend to think don’t fix what isn’t broken. If the progesterone helps me during PMS and I’m normal the rest of the month, then my problem is PMS not depression and you continue to give your patients what’s helped them in the past not suddenly withdraw the one thing supporting them. I will not be returning to Arbor Woman, which is a great disappointment because They care so much about life and Catholic values. Unfortunately, they don’t listen to their patients history or care to partner with the fertility clinics they advertise. Thank you Arbor Woman for the past six years of care."
