"Billing is terrible. Nothing gets sent until you get a letter saying they tried to contact you multiple times (never happened) and now you're extremely delinquent. This is now the second time they've done this. Clearly someone in billing doesn't know how to do their job."
"I'm writing this review as a birth doula who had a client under Dr. Barbara Meyer's care. Dr. Meyer protected my client's birth space, took the time to present her and her husband with detailed information about their choices, and was present during the entire labor and birth. She was patient and encouraged my client to make her own decisions about her care. She provided true informed consent with every suggestion she made. As a birth doula, I was blown away by her support of me helping during the labor. Dr. Meyer was enthusiastic about the suggestions I had for supporting my client with different labor positions. I don't believe our client would have had the safe and supportive birth that she had without her!"
"The doctor didn't want to take what I said into consideration, I told him I believe I had tonsil stones and that my throat felt horrible and I couldnt swallow. He looked at my throat and said "I do notice a lot of redness and swelling and what looks to be an ulcer in your tonsils" Then proceeded to tell me "Must be allergy's, I'll prescribe you claritin and whatever going on in your throat will clear out on its own" I told him it's been like that for months and he said "yeah, it's that time of the year" I told him I have never had sinus or allergy issues and I've lived in this area my whole life. He didnt listen to me, so I went to urgent care because it just didnt seem possible for it to be allergies. I am now taking an antibiotic for a severe infection in the back of my throat caused by tonsil stones and have a follow up with an ENT next week."
"My family and I have been patients here for three years, we should have left long ago. There are a few great doctors there that you may gamble on receiving, but don't count on it. My prematurely born son had undergo 7 different medication, for the wrong diagnosis until I finally insisted on seeing a specialist. I honestly feel they would have continued to play a guessing game on him. I had talked to my NICU doctor, who who urged me to take care of this quickly before it became sepsis. My husband went through a similar disaster. I would not recommend this office to any one."
"I have been a patient here for 4 years and really enjoyed my doctor and the nurses were always helpful and kind. On February 2017 I was seen and my co pay was not collected at that time. On May 2017 I received a call that my follow up appointment was cancelled due to a missed balance of $40 (you guessed it my co payment), My account was then sent to collections and I can no longer be a patient so I was told by the rude lady on the phone, Linda. As I asked her about the account she thought it was wise to hang up the phone on a patient. Mind you I have been in the office and seen my doctor in March and in April of 2017. At none of these times was I told to pay $40 past due or that I would be kicked out as a patient. It is ridiculous practice. If they cared and appreciated their patients they would not be hanging up phones when questioned on shady practices, they would not kick out a patient over $40 that can be easily paid. It's unfortunate that I have to give this practice 2 stars bc I really enjoyed the medical staff. The office staff is never friendly and obviously extremely unprofessional. Edited to add: I spoke to Linda in person (because I decided to show up and try to resolve this issue) and she apologized for her behavior and admitted that the issue was their fault and that it would be fixed. It is still unfortunate and the actions taken left a bad taste."
