Planned Parenthood - Mishawaka Health Center

"The nurse practitioner was super rude. I had a 1 1/2 drive from Michigan to Indiana just to go to this appointment. I called and asked if it was okay that I was going to be 20 minutes late and the medical team said yes. The Medical Assistant/Nurse Assistant was super nice, and had great communication skills. However, the Nurse Practitioner was extremely rude and was like , “So do you want this IUD insertion or not? Hurry up, I have kids at home” Then, while I felt cramps during the procedure, she proceeded to ask if I was crying, like, in a mocking tone. I replied “yes”. She didn’t say anything to comfort me. The whole time it just felt like.. a “Let’s get this done and over with” vibe."

"Let's just say they said they wouldn't test me for what I booked the appointment for because certain conditions were not met. Well I bought a test kit online that was able to do the test and give me my results. I'm angry because they came back positive and I could've been spending the last 3 months working on getting medication for my problem instead of waiting around for symptoms to show up again. Was entirely unprofessional that wouldn't even offer to do a blood test when clearly they work. I will never be going back"

"After calling on the phone to tell exactly what was needed they tell my daughter to come down. 90 minute drive one way. When she gets there, they very unprofessionally tell her they won't replace her implant early. 14 days!!!!! Drove 90 minutes both ways to be told no for 14 days. This is after waiting in the waiting room for almost an hour PAST the appointment. And the "nurse" in the room refused to wear a mask. Horrible customer service. Need people who know what they are doing."

"I went to this clinic for birth control and a general woman's health screening. The nurse sat down and talked with me about the pros and cons of each option for a solid 15 minutes. She made sure I was fully informed and comfortable with my decision. Definitely recommend this location!"
