"Unethically medical practice. What an absolute scam. A complete waste of my time and money. Let’s start at the beginning so people can understand why it is I am inspired to write this review. For the last few weeks I have been feeling some pain in my neck. Last week I asked a coworker is he used a chiropractor. He responded Hudak so I went online and filled out an online entry form. I thought I would get an email back from them. I did not. I call on Monday to try and schedule something. We talk and talk and she tells me to go and fill out the online paperwork. I say I think I may have already filled out the entry paperwork. We talk some more as we are speaking I am on my phone filling out the paperwork again and and after a few minutes she says, oh yes you did already fill that out. I don’t think much of it. She tells me my insurance is strange and I will have to come in for two visits to get adjusted. I show up today to my first visit. She sort mentions my insurance again and has me sign some paperwork. Then I see the doctor. He gives me a 10 minute examination squeezing my neck, checking my reflexes and commenting one shoulder is higher than the other. Then he tells me I would need two more visits to get adjusted. Ok what ever. I go to schedule my next appointment. She say let me add this up. I ask to use the restroom. I return and say how much do I owe you. She says $85. I respond for what? The lady who checked me in comes flying up saying I explained this to you about your insurance. I don’t know what it is that she explained. Because she explained nothing. Had I know I was going to ay $85 for a ten minute exam and that I would have to return for some X-rays and that would be another few and return again for an adjustment and that would be another fee, I would have shopped around. Who has the time to give an office 3 hours on three different days. This was not communicated to me effectively. I said so I have to come back here 2 more times before I am adjusted. How much more is this one adjustment going to cost? I threw out the number $300. I got nothing in return for the question well how much is this one exam going to cost me? Except that some how it was my fault and my insurances fault about this offices poor communication and lack of service provided. This rude woman tried to tell me how she had told me that I was made aware of the cost. Absolutely not true. You know what? I would have had not problem spending the money, I am going to have to spend the money somewhere to be adjusted. Just don’t mislead me and waste my time. Just yesterday I had my annual physical and the day before my blood work. This ten minute service of “one shoulder is higher that the other costed way more than my annual physical. But the communication was sharp and aggressive. It felt like I was being handle by a sketchy mechanic or a smarmy salesman. Absolute waste of my time. Shame on you Hudak Chiropractic."
