"After waiting in the lobby for some time, I get seen by a woman that -halfway into me telling her my reason for a visit- tells me she doesn’t know how to help me so had to call someone else. Makes a call/ I have to correct her 3 times while she tells the person over the phone the wrong reason for my visit; telling the person on the phone that I want them to prescribe me a medication I haven’t taken in ten years. Which is wrong. I told her I’ve been ON this medication for over 10 years, but stopped taking it about a month ago. she then tells me she doesn’t know what she’s doing so I have to go back out into the lobby to wait for the other ‘professional’. I sit out there and wait, then I’m brought into the room where before I can even get a full sentence out, the woman is talking over me: absolutely not listening to anything I’m saying. And ANY time I tried to say a word, she started talking over me: after the 3rd time of her doing this, I just continued talking while she talked overtop of me. She still never stopped talking, and didn’t listen to anything I was saying even once, She starts telling me that they are unable to have my perscription refilled. I say- then why did I go to the CVS in Chesterton like 5 years ago for the SAME reason and same prescription and they were able to send me a 30 day prescription over within 5 minutes and no issues. Then She admits- she is able to but it’s hard for her to do. And easier for her if I just see my family doctor. Well isn’t the whole point of going to a ‘MINUTE’ clinic so that you don’t have to wait for a family doctor appointment if you need something last minute??? So I drove an hour to see them, left with nothing except anger from speaking to 2 different people who are suppose to be in health CARE, yet show as much care as a teenager working for no pay. They quickly showed me the reason they work in a corner store instead of an actual doctors office. I will NOT be going there again. For anything."
"Great for medications, vaccines, and tests. $74 for a TB test."
"Only reasons I’m giving this place a one star is so I can leave a reviews if not I would give 0. First off I tell them I’ve been sick for almost 3weeks and I’ve tried over counter medication everything you could think of before going to the office as last resort and nothing has worked. I go to my appointment which was waste of my time and money I tell them all of my symptoms and problems and they seems to not even really be paying attention to any of my concerns and mind you my throat was swollen red and glands were swollen as well and they said so themselves. Guess what I was told go home and just let it run its course and take salt water gargles and hopefully you feel better soon. Wish I was making all this up but sadly that’s not the case so beware of going to the clinic they don’t really care about you getting better or hearing your concerns just save yourself the trouble and money and go to urgent care it cost the same with better results."
"I was told by another CVS to come here for a COVID test because only MinuteClinics do that testing now. I drove here (from the south side of South Bend) only to see they were booked up on appointments for the day. And it was only 11 am! I was not told MinuteClinics were appointment only. A couple of years ago, you could get a test in the drive thru. Why a quick 5 minute test can't be done seems silly. The pharmacy had a very long line so I had to ask the ladies at the front counter for help finding the take-home COVID tests. Disappointed with these MinuteClinics. I guess make an appointment ahead of time or don't even use them if you have insurance."
"It was on a weekend when I woke up with a fever and a blistered throat. So rather than wait out the weekend I went here and saw NP Sandra Lee... she "evaluated me" then performed a strep test then told me that it isn't strep to take tylenol and if my sore throat persists go to my pcp for antibiotic medications (which I did and was then tested positive for strep). Now I am being billed on top of my insurance and copay for more than what my pcp (who actually HELPS ME) charges. If I could give her negative stars- I would- do NOT recommend!! A visit here only gives you wasted time and a bill without proper treatment.."
