She didn't suggest that I would be able to self pay. She just flat out said they will not see me. She made me feel very unwelcome. I ended up self paying per MY request. I told her I would pay and just send my insurance the bill and she told me that "THATS not how IT works". The only reason I didn't walk out was because I had been waiting a full month for my daughter to be seen already. I will be finding a new place for my daughter to go from now on."

"Very disappointed. I went for treatment of a wart on my foot. The first approach was not successful and expensive. The second approach was a prescription cream. The cream was working but required patience. St. Joseph Dermatology would not refill my prescription because it was a year in April. I explained that I was so close and the wart seems to have surfaced vs being deeply embedding. I understand that the removal of a wart requires patience and is challenging. I asked them to refill my prescription for the cream and schedule an appt. They would only refill the prescription for the cream after an appointment which would have been weeks away! First unsuccessful treatment was over $3200, my insurance covered $2000 and my portion was $1200."
