"I am not a fan of this ER doctor. My experiences with him have been rough and uncharacteristic of all the other ER doctors we have here in Cheboygan. I have heard conversations he has had about me and my care that shouldn't have been discussed in a hallway and strangers able to hear.... ALSO, the information he was speaking about was a criticism of my Primary Care Doctor and the way he is handling my care. Dr. Benzing also took time to defame my moral character by making judgements about my pain, which I am now having a second surgery to correct. Dr Benzing's loudly voiced opinion of my health was demeaning and unethical. Now that I know something is being done for my pain and kidneys, I can say that my treatment by this physician was unkind and completely humiliating.... it's amazing what is able to be said and done to a patient.... who then becomes a victim of prejudice. I would strongly suggest avoiding him if you want to keep your personal information private and to keep his "opinions" of your character out of your treatment."
