"This school not it the teachers are ok the new principal is focused on the wrong thing I’m in 8th grade and we have our dance in the lunch room our gym is in the basement we stay with substitutes I don’t like the school the school is small and the roof be leaking"
"My grandchildren attend this school, the new principal is focus on the wrong thing he concern about shoe color but what about the bullying, children has no control over not being properly dressed at time. But to get suspended for having a color logo on a shoe it make no sense. The staff should be focuse on the childrens education and the grade of the school and safety of the childrens, then your not allowed to pick up the children after 2:45 pm for a early release but they have the children sitting on the school bus the one that ride the bus. But when my grandson woke up like i can't find my shoe i don't wanna go to school im get wrote up thats sad.. and the principal and some of the staff doesn't dress in a title holder appearance. I have 8 grandchildren and about 10 niece and nephew thats attend George Crockett, until the principal focuses on the the children education and safety, im keep complaining to the school board."
"All in All, my experience at George Crockett was very.... mediocre. The school itself was not that clean. The lunch was atrocious (therefore, i didn't eat it.)They didn't have many certified teachers... We kept having substitutes for our whole eighth grade year. Im not saying it was completely the schools fault. The kids would bully new kids. There would be petty fights. But, SOME of the office staff like Ms.Yates and Ms.Williams had fake personalities and an attitude. There were kind teachers like Ms. Buesman and Ms. Dunbar and a few others. I hope that the school flourishes now that there's a new principal. But hey, there were good times and bad times. I used to dread going to that school everyday. Sometimes I'd even cry at night and put on a fake smile in the morning. If I could get up out of there and got to Renaissance with the help of a few caring teachers... then you can too."
"I go to this school and its okay, most of these reviews, especially about gun fights are lies. But there is a lot of drama and fights sometimes"
