"My experience with Same Day Road Test in Rochester Hills was top notch. First thing first, I came to the U.S. two months ago and I have already a driving license from my home country for over 20 years so I'm not a inexperienced driver. Yet, I needed to apply for Michigan driver's license, which worried me at first since the rules and driving skills may slightly differ while you are tested and testing centers may eager to fail you to get more money. So, I got prepared by watching some road test videos and practiced myself during daily driving. I arrived to test place timely as they request it very clearly, I opted taking the test with their vehicle as I didn't want to risk with my rental car and I tried to remain calm and easy. I must give credit here to Ashley, who was a great test examiner. She well defined the procedure, clearly gave her instructions and gave me feedback all the time for my actions. At the end, I passed the test and granted for the license. I wanted to leave this review, because there are plenty of negative reviews, which I think irrational and unfair. Many of them are from mothers of young drivers who think their babies are just best but the instructors are bad, or inexperienced drivers simply fail because of faulty actions but accuse this place for failing. During my experience, I didn't feel that they behave like this, Ashley was very pro, cautious yet polite and friendly. I didn't take a practice test as a experienced driver but yet studied my lesson, drove as best as it gets, she still gave me feedback for some points and overall made me passed at my very first time. If you think you come here with awful driving skills but still they can make you pass, it may not be the case. But if you are a trustable good driver, there is no reason for pass for it at once with Same Day Road Test."

"I read several reviews from this place before schedule my driving test here, to be honest, I was worried and thinking whether or not schedule it here. But is the only one with really nice office hours in the zone, so, I decided to give it a shot. First of all, I am from Mexico and I’m still learning and improving my English, but everyone in the office is really nice and welcoming, that was really nice because they make you feel more confident. Then, I failed my first attempt because I missed a speed limit signal and I drove 12 over the limit, that was an automatic failure, at this first attempt Steve was my examiner and he was really professional and gentle. He is a nice guy. So, I had to schedule a second test for next day and in the second attempt, Denise was my examiner, she was really nice as well, very patient and gentle. I had opportunity to chat for a while as well with Genie and she is also very nice. Whether or not you pass the test, everyone gives you such a good feedback at the end of the test, that is really useful. And also, I met a guy also there that performs the test in Spanish and Portuguese, that is awesome!! I will suggest, if you need the test in Spanish or Portuguese, walk in and ask for this guy, I’m sorry but i forgot his name :( Or reach out to me, I have his phone number to schedule an appointment!
