"As a student there, West Middle School is a great place, with lots of nice kids, and even nicer teachers! The counselors there do a really good job, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. I won't lie and say there is no bullying, but much of that is stopped relatively quickly. We have great before and after school activity that you can participate in! Although there may be 4 middle schools in the Rochester District, West Is Best!"

"Its pretty good compared to other schools. The only problem I see is the lack of Transfigureation classes and no Defense Against the Dark Arts."

"Im an 8th grader now almost done and i've liked my time here. I came in 7th grade after ruether in 6th. I'd say its a better atmosphere. I did football, wrestling, and track here and i love it. GO WARRIORS!!"

"Sorry to say but the sportsmanship of their girls 8th grade basketball team is lacking respect. Our Troy team vs them tonight at West and I was first appalled at the demeanor of the coach. Yelling and ubrupt with our coach and the referees. Their girls were disrespectful to our girls on the court and lastly, it was so sad to see the parents be just as much a part of the disrespect. What a shame!!! I pray they find the means to realize it is just a game, that you are teaching your girls disrespect and poor sportsmanship. It just gave our team a negative connotation to West Middle School. We are almost done with our season and I have to say this team gave us the worst experience of our season yet."
