"Honestly, this morning could have turned out really horrible; but the administrative team( Especially Miss Tanesha) blew me away with their patience and grace in my time of need."

"Came here to drop off my son’s registration and school of choice application. The staff here were friendly and helpful answering all of my questions. They stopped doing paper registration so you’ll have to do it through the portal which allows you to submit documents. It is much more convenient that way especially when you’re busy and don’t ever have the time to go drop forms off."

"I recently moved from another state. I enrolled my son to kindergarten this year. I have all the paperwork except a immunization waiver. To get this waiver you have to set up an appointment with the Macomb county health department- which I did previously. They were booked out 6 weeks, this worried me- however the health department assured me that Macomb schools know of this and will verify having an appointment with them. Therefore, child would still be able to begin school. The day before school starts they tell me, the superintendent will be verifying all of these kinds of incidents with the health department and have an answer for me later that week ( which was the last week of august). Ok no big deal, my kindergartner misses his first 2-3 days. It is NOW Tuesday September 6th & NO ONE has gotten back to me with an answer. My appointment with the health department isn’t until October. If I were to have been in Michigan I would have booked this appointment sooner, however sooner or later my child still would not be fully vaccinated so therefore warren consolidated schools is holding my child back from education for no reason. Besides them telling me the superintendent needs to verify. Also when I’ve called student services it’s not that I don’t get an answer, someone answers and hangs up. They don’t say a word they pick it up so it stops ringing and hangs up. Which doesn’t make sense because answering the phone is what you’re supposed to do inside the building, correct? I am a very concerned mother and hate that my baby is so ready to start learning more and having this experience and everyday no one has an answer for me. It seems as if the administration building and the school board are not working properly together to get matters resolved, or maybe have a bias opinion on students whose parents choose not to pump their children up with every little thing the government feels you should do. I’d hate for that to be the case. As it would be a case. I will update this review later to see when they actually start my child."

"Was told by the school the admin building never answers their phones and when I call them go figure no answer, not just one day either every day for 3 days, 10-15 times a day no answer.. And then I call the school and they tell me if I want to talk to someone( very minor questions about registration) I must go in and talk to someone. I have called and emailed them multiple times with no avail. Thank you Warren con for really giving an A for effort..."
