"Multiple times now I've had an appointment scheduled and they keep you sitting in the waiting room well over 2 hours past your appointment before they eventually bring you back. The staff is consistently rude and acts like you're just another issue to pawn off or deal with til their shift is over. Numerous times I've been discharged with a "best wishes" instead of a diagnosis. I wouldn't go here at all if there were other closer choices."

"Places like this are only able to stay in business because there is no competition. I would drive hours away to go to get care. We were on vacation in the area in August when my son got hurt and we had to go to Urgent Care. The care he received was fine, it's what has happened since then. While there, I gave them my insurance card and paid my co-pay. Two months later I get two bills, 1 from the hospital and 1 from Dr. Steven Brown for reading the x-rays On the bills it states that we are uninsured. I call the numbers and talk to the two separate billing companies, they take the insurance information and state they will run it through and I will get an updated bill in 45 days. In the meantime, I keep checking my insurance and there are no claims filed for this. Then I get the two bills again, again they both state that we are uninsured. I call billing for the hospital, click that I want a call back,3 hours later I finally get a call back, the person takes the insurance information again, gives me the same story. THEN I call the billing number for the doctor at 1 in the afternoon, click that I want to keep my place in line and get a call back. Never received a call back. This morning I call at 8:30, wait on hold for 10 minutes, then click I would like a call back. I then call again and wait on hold for 2 hours without anyone picking up. It is 4pm, and I still haven't received a call back. I called the hospital directly to if there is anything I could do, the lady who answered said "Oh, that's billed through Central Wisconsin Radiologists and gave me their number...they answered right away. I once again explained the situation and the lady there said "I don't know why they keep giving people our number but none of the doctor's in Rinelander are with our group. We have asked them to stop giving out our number" And here sit with over $1200 in bills."

"Wish I had read reviews before going in, I never would have went here. If you care at all about your health stay away from this place. I went in with a severely herniated disc in my back. after waiting in er for almost 2 hours, I was finally seen by a woman that kept asking me what I wanted them to do. I said the last time it was this bad they did an MRI and I was in surgery within 24 hours. She basically told me she cant just order an mri, and that I would have to be admitted first, she then asks me a couple questions and says I don't qualify to be admitted. At this point I could not even stand much less walk. She never even did any kind of exam or even touched me. Then sent me on my way, and acted like I should be thankful they even helped me to car. I have seem many diff doctors over the years for multiple med issues and never once treated the way I was there. Reading the reviews I see I'm defiantly not the only one this place has failed to help. 1.7 stars out of 47 reviews pretty much says it all."

"They completely messed up on a procedure my father had. Not taking the right area for samples and misdiagnosed him. I can't express how upset I am with the care he received and if I could rate a zero I would! Now I have a ruptured disc and have been to the emergency Dept two days in a row and they have done absolutely nothing. This place shouldn't even be considered a hospital or clinic!"

"I recently tried to establish a primary care provider here, someone I had heard a lot about on the radio, thinking she'd be great! She not only wouldn't hear anything I had to say, she tried to force me onto medication that I didn't want to begin with because of a very high rate of crime involved with it, she refused to tell me the side effects, or discuss other options then had her nurse call me to yell at me about my lifestyle choices after the appointment. They were nice for my original appointment but after this, ill never go back to this hospital and I hope you don't waste your time either. The drug companies are clearly in charge of this building."
