"This is a review for the Merrill clinic and its receptionist. Recently switched insurance companies and new insurance will not approve the name brand of my current asthma medication. Pharmacy put in multiple requests for the doctor’s office to approve a medication from the list. It has been nearly 2 weeks and NOTHING from the doctor’s office. I called the pharmacy and the pharmacy said the doctor had to find an approved medication from the insurance company’s list, which was available online. I contacted the dr’s office and asked them to take care of this for me. I was told by the receptionist that it was my responsibility to contact my insurance to see what they will approve. I AM NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL AND CANNOT JUST “CHOOSE” A MEDICATION!! Your receptionist has just ensured that I will be finding a different doctor."
