"Clean school! But all the academies are clean. I went to watch a basketball game and my jaw dropped when I seen how aggressive they teach the kids to play basketball! There is a difference between being aggressive and being a bully. Why is there hand on my son when my son doesn't even have the ball? Why they pushing kids??? Why is it every jump ball the kids are well trying to and then almost elbowing our kids in the face? I hope the coaches would not teach them that? Not to mention cussing at the other team they were facing! I played basketball for years and never have I seen it played like that and I'm disgusted by the coaches! Maybe you should check them with the morals that you're supposed to be upholding in your school!"
"This is my kids second year at Metro and I would not recommend this school at all. I’m currently looking at other schools! The parent/staff communication is horrible, no one return emails or phone call. My 4th grade was assigned a teacher but was removed from her class within 2 weeks and place into another class, while in that class the teacher quit. The class had sub teachers for weeks however to school failed to inform the parents. On another note my 6th grader teacher also quit and he now has a virtual teach in school, again the parents was not informed of this change. My kids haven’t had any homework AT All! I do not recommend metro."
"I used to go to Metro and I can honestly say that it was one of the best experiences, yes some of the kids got out of control but the teachers always tried their best to keep order in the classroom and make sure all of the kids were treated with respect, safety was one of their main concerns and were always on the lookout for their students, most of the issues I had seen came from parents who thought they were above school rules and could do whatever they wanted but when a teacher said anything they acted like the victims and wouldn't take responsibility for their actions which of course led to setting a bad example for their children who in turn would misbehave in class. I would truly recommend this school for anyone."
"It’s disgusting the way Metro is handling these Covid cases. 3plus 8th graders tested positive. They continued school as normal. Even with students in close contact to the individuals. My daughter tested positive today. I’ve been in constant communication with the principal. Trying to understand why the 8th grade isn’t doing virtual for two weeks. With the cases rising. The obvious solution would be to Quarantine and do a deep clean down the whole middle school wing. But instead they rather not handle it. But yet a whole 3rd grade class. Had to quarantine for two weeks because the teacher, possibly came in contact with a person who tested positive! BUT THERE IS WITHOUT A DOUBT 5 POSITIVE CASES IN THE 8TH GRADE WITHIN THE LAST TWO WEEKS! POSSIBLY MORE! RIDICULOUS! NHA isn’t what it use to be! Metro Is Definitely Going Down Hill! SAVE THE CONTACT HUMAN RELATIONS COMMENT NHA DONT GIVE A DAM"
"There is a fourth grade teacher named Mrs. Harrison and she loves to bully her students. She will deliberately pick on the kids with no explanation. She does not respond yo emails, nor consults with the parents. She feels she can do whatever she wants and nothing will succumb to her actions. Many parents as well as I and students are very disappointed in the response from the Dean and staff. Do not send your children to this school. They will end up depressed and have low self esteem from being bullied by this teacher!!!!!!! Protect your children!!!!!!!!"
