"These guys have been angels on earth for me and my best friend Roux. I can’t think of another vet that would have put as much time and energy into helping us out, whether that be helping me keep my dog while displaced due to DV, keeping him happy and healthy through many transitions, and going through the ringer with behavioral and other health concerns. I would have never trusted anyone else with caring for my dog, and will be a client for life as long as I have fur friends around. The commitment and care for these animals is apparent and obvious, and i couldn’t be more thankful for the team here!"
"A few weeks back my wife and I had to have our cat Smokey euthanized. It was heartbreaking. But the staff showed grace and kindness, and empathy, which helped us deal with our grief. We interacted with Dr. Kosten, Jamie and Andi. They were amazing, such wonderful people. Thank you."
"Just brought both of my babies here for their first visit and am very happy with how it went. Dr. Kosten was very gentle with my kittens and very concise with communicating their needs. My vet assistant/tech was also very kind and engaging. Also the goodie bags I got were awesome. Looking forward to coming back!"
"VCA NE is the best in terms of patient and owner compassionate care. All 5 physicians, their support staff and the receptionists make sure my Labrador’s needs are taken care of. They were able to pinpoint his allergies and determine the correct course of treatment. The staff also made sure to go over all diagnostic options so that I could determine what was within price range as well as making sure we chose the best option for my dog. 10/10 would recommend!"
"I'm so disappointed in this clinic now. I just deleted my 5 star review from 3 years ago, from when they had a completely different management team and employee crew. They used to be the best veterinarian clinic I had ever had the pleasure of going to, but this new iteration has consistently disappointed me. We've had several terrible experiences in the past year alone. The first terrible experience, I brought my cat in for her yearly vaccines and they brought her to the back to administer. All of a sudden, I heard her screeching in a way she never has before, and I got scared so I propped the door open and called out asking if she was OK. After repeated attempts with no response, she was still howling so I stepped into the back out of fear. Everyone back there just stared at me and I asked what was going on several times, but they didn't respond. I didn't see her, but I could hear her, so I walked up to the employees to find her pinned beneath a blanket, absolutely terrified. Then they finally responded, saying she just started acting out. She didn't seem injured, so I let it go, assuming she was just anxious with these new people she didn't know. The second terrible experience, I brought my other cat in for vaccines and mentioned that she had asthma, for which she was already prescribed an inhaler. The nursing assistant asked if I wanted radiography done, but I explained to her that I couldn't afford it at the time and would have to use my credit card, so I told her not to do the radiography unless the doctor thought her breathing sounded concerning. When the doctor listened to her lungs, she said they sounded normal and healthy. She then told me she was bringing my cat to the back to do her vaccines. At this point, I had made it clear I did not want them to do the radiography, which cost around $600. When I went to check out, I was told they performed the radiography anyway, and I was being charged for it. I complained to the manager about them doing the radiography without communication or consent, but I did not ask for a refund. After hearing my complaint, the manager offered to refund and write off the radiography, so I obviously accepted. Today, I went to purchase my cat's prescription food and was turned away, saying that since they did a write off for the radiography they would no longer service me in any way, whether it was selling me her prescription or allowing me to make appointments. The manager failed to communicate that when she offered me the write off, which I hadn't asked for myself. I feel that my cat's are being punished for this clinic's failure to properly communicate and follow directions, and for taking the manager up on her offer. Now, my cat has no way to access the prescription food she needs to prevent the bladder stones she's prone to, and therefore her life is endangered. I'm horrified by this treatment, especially after having been a loyal customer for the past 9 years."
