"When it was time to say goodbye to our sweet boy, Cheez it, I knew we would use Heaven at Home. From the first phone call to picking up Cheeze it's paw print I was behind grateful and impressed with Heaven at Home. Dr Laurie Brush was our vet and we are so thankful for her. She was knowledgeable, kind, empathetic and trustworthy. She understood we already made the hardest decision to say goodbye to Cheez it, so when she came to our home the only thing we had to decide was where to say goodbye. She took all the decision making off us so we could hold him and enjoy our final moments - her expertise allowed us to room to grieve and be present. Dr. Brush treated him with respect and dignity when placing him in the basket to leave and assured his he would be right next to her the entire time. Thank you heaven at home staff and Dr Brush for making our final moments with our special boy Cheeze it beautiful."
"I lost my Susie, who was 18, a week before Christmas. She had oral cancer and it was getting worse and her vet recommended Heaven at Home. Dr Katie Tillman came to my house and I was really struggling with knowing if this was the right time. She sat and talked with me, went over other possible options and what those days may look like. She never rushed me but explained how her time left would be and helped me to see that this was the right decision, before she would really begin to suffer. I am so thankful for her patience and kind words during this horrible time. She made sure Susie was comfortable and right with me when she passed and it was very peaceful. I would highly recommend this service to everyone, it was definitely much more peaceful for her and me to be in our own home. Thank you again Dr. Katie Tillman, you are truly an angel."
"It's been over a year and my grief is still overwhelming some days. My beautiful, brilliant girl, Wendigo, was supposed to be my spouse's dog. I wasn't ready to commit to the inevitable heartbreak yet. Of course she won me over and became my constant, my training partner, my protector, my heart. She was a canine good citizen and a Karen Pryor Certified Training Partner and more than that she filled our lives every day with her giant personality and many Wendigo-isms. I remember crying while she was still quite young because I fell so hard and knew what was to come. Many years later when that time arrived Heaven At Home was there. They're gentle, kind and deeply respectful. Even now the tears spill and run. When Dr Brush said "she has her wings" I thought, "she had them long ago, but now they carry her away". Thank you Mary S and Dr Brush. My girl, I love you forever and "I carry your heart...""
"They turned one of the worst days of my life in to a beautiful experience. Our provider kept myself and my beloved pet calm and at ease the entire time. She was caring and loving towards my 15 old GSP. Our vet recommended Heaven at Home. There was no question whether I was doing this at home. My dog had a lot of anxiety when going to the vet. Heaven at home provided clear instructions, and what to expect the day of. I can’t brag on them enough. When it was time to pick up the remains, they brought it to my car and a beautiful box with a print of my girls nose. I miss my her so much, but when I think back on that day it makes me smile. She had a beautiful sendoff and we can’t thank Heaven at Home enough."
"My sister and I had a 14-18yo torti with stage 4 kidney disease when one day, we knew she was near her end so we called Heaven at Home to talk about options. Once we knew it was time to let her cross the rainbow bridge, we called and scheduled an in home euthanasia because we didn’t want her to pass in an office. They were able to schedule the visit within 30-45 minute of the call. When the vet arrived Dr. Katie Tillman, I knew she was gold. We got our kitty in my sisters lap, her favorite spot in the world and the doctor hopped up on the bed next to her. The whole process was so calm and the vet made sure we knew everything that was happening. We paid for the cremation and as the doctor pack up our kitty, she took the greatest care to put her in a basket, wrapped her in a blanket and took her away. Although the bill was more than a typical vet, we will have all our pets put down this way if able. We loved the at home euthanasia service and recommend it to everyone. These vets and techs are angels for us ♥️"
