"I want to be more positive because I loves the ambiance but this place has some issues with the food. They are expensive for what they give you. I ordered a salad for $25 when adding thr chicken for $8. It was meager for the price and the menu is very limited."
"The atmosphere is cool. My friend had the crispy cabbage with lamb meatballs; it was delicious. I had a burger; it was a burger. (That was my choice so I know to do better next time, lol.) The fennel honey ice cream with poached pears and shaved almonds was yummy too."
"Super cute restaurant right on the water/canal! Friendly staff and great (and creative) food! I had the jerk cauliflower tacos! If they are booked, go sit at the bar, you won’t be disappointed!"
"Had a lovely meal and experience at this “new to me” restaurant! Saw it on social media and the location and atmosphere live up to the hype. With the canals and boat slips it feels more like a tropical paradise than east Detroit. Loved the outdoor areas, the whimsical furniture/settings, and combined indoor/pergola/outdoor areas. It could use better signage and the parking situation isn’t great; can be confusing where to park and enter. The hostesses were friendly and welcoming. Our server was over immediately and was fantastic start to finish. Fun drink menu and loved the $3 beers. The food menu, although a little ‘small’ was still interesting and varied. Shared a smoked fish dip appetizer—yummy! Entrees of fish and chips (fantastic) and marrow burger (unfortunately overcooked-not served medium). Was hungry so didn’t want to send burger back but I’m sure they would’ve brought us another one if requested. Overall super fun and will come bask. They should figure out a way to offer boat rides or even a dinner cruise. The reason for 4 stars v 5 is the parking situation and the burger but don’t let either deter you."
"It's a great location, a great atmosphere, and the service was awesome. It's LGBTQ friendly, but parking was limited. They don't have enough parking places, we had to park far away and walk around 7 minutes, which is ok to me but some people might not like it. The reason why I gave it 4 stars. The restaurant doesn't not have a sign, (check my pictures below or above) but food was good, we ordered 2 side dishes, one fish and chips, one beer and a margarita, the bill came around $ 70 dollars for two people, it's kind of expensive, but overall we enjoyed it."
