The Pantry Restaurant 44945 Morley Drive, Clinton Township, MI 48036

"Great place. The food (I've only had breakfast the times I've been there) is the best you'll ever have. I normally get the big apple German pancake but this time I ordered an omlette. Normally omlettes are folded in half and the egg is super thin. This omlette looked more like a football of or a small loaf of bread. The egg was soft and fluffy like it should be. And the other things inside the omelette were great as well. Oh, and those German pancakes are insanely good. I almost never give 5 stars but this place should get 5 but the last 2 times I've gone here, my wife and I were seated at a half booth half table and there was like 12 inches that I had to squeeze sideways through to get in. And as I'm walking sideways I'm basically rubbing my body on the table next to us where 2 other people are eating! In this area the tables are way too close. If they remove the middle table (it only seats 2) it would be much more pleasant. They're so close it's like they're eating at your table. I'm not a fan of eating with strangers."

"The Pantry is very easy to find. There is plenty of free parking and close handicap parking. Getting there a half hour before the rush is a good strategy. While we had excellent service and we were not rushed, most tables were filled and a short wait began for seating."

"I love their baked omelettes! Super fluffy and delicious. My fruit was really fresh and the pancakes were fantastic. The service is always great. They kept our coffee cups full and we really appreciated that."

"Nice atmosphere. Was not too busy on Fri. Bathroom was filthy and disgusting. Food took forever to come out. Food was cold. Asked for over medium egss they were cold runny and snotty. Service was okay. Coffee was good. Pancakes were not good. Cornbeef hash was decent. Overall not sure why people rate this place so high. Maybe my first time was an off day for them but either way just being honest."
