Buddy's Pizza 8100 Old 13 Mile Road, Warren, MI 48093

"This place has really gone downhill, the lettuce in the salad was not very crisp and the tomatoes look like they've been around a while. Ordered wings as an appetizer and they never came. When the waitress asked me if there's anything else she can get for me after she brought the pizza, I asked where my wings were and then she tells me they were taken to another table. I figure honest mistake, even though I was surprised she let them get away from her. When they finally showed up, they were not made with the barbecue sauce that was requested, at that point I had enough. Ask for the manager and he was pretty cool. He said he was going to make them right and it would be on the house. He basically took back the same wings, had them tossed in barbecue sauce, thrown in a fresh basket and brought it back to the table. I was happy, after all I got free wings out of it. Even though they were the size of pigeon wings lol. Ask for more water, she took my glass and never brought it back until I had to ask for it. When the waitress finally admitted that she took our wings along with everything else to another table I said to myself I am done and for one of the few times in my life I did not leave a tip. Will be avoiding this buddies from now on."

"It's been ages since I came to Buddy's Pizza in Warren and it will be ages before I eat here again, if ever. Brought an out-of-town visitor to this place to show off Detroit's fan-favorite pizza joint. Very disappointed with the pizza, the prices and quantity of it. Overpriced is an understatement ($17.49 for 4 very small slices). Poor quality is an understatement (SMALL, thin, little toppings, overbaked, bland flavor). If this is what's considered "Detroit's best pizza", then Detroit doesn't know pizza. Service was just okay, nothing special. Now the good: Atmosphere. Great to see Detroit memorabilia throughout the restaurant. Also, the bacon cheddar burger with the very small handful of steak fries wasn't bad, either. Conclusion: Only bring in out-of-towners for a novelty "tour" visit to Buddy's... but only if they really insist on going. There are better choices, like Green Lantern or Marko's Pizza."
