Nick's Pizza Ferndale 745 East 9 Mile Road, Ferndale, MI 48220

"Nick's Pizza is a true staple to the Ferndale/Hazel Park area. I've been going here for now 15 years and don't see it changing. The pizza is always fantastic. I personally always love the idea of getting just one topping on their pizzas because they are extremely generous with their portions. It's also nice that a pizza place actually consistently cooks their food and you don't have to worry about choosing specific days to order from them. But don't be fooled into thinking only the pizza is good. Their subs and bread are absolutely amazing as well. I can't speak to the wings or some of the other various items, but it's kinda hard to imagine those wouldn't be just as good as the other items. Maybe my favorite part of Nick's though is their pricing. It's getting harder and harder to find that marriage of quality and price. Nick's does it harmoniously somehow and I think that's why they continue to thrive. If you've never been and you're a local, you're really missing out."

"Tried Nick's for the first time the other night. Pizza is pretty good, nice soft crust and semi-sweet. My only complaint was the staff being pretty short with me. I didn't even have a chance to sign the receipt and they were already gone. Online ordering is always a nice benefit. All in all, I'll definitely order again.... Maybe it was an off night for the person at the counter."

"Food was mediocre. I ordered a thin crust pizza and a round pizza. They both had the same crust. Neither was an actual crispy thin crust. The Alfredo pizza was not good. They used frozen broccoli and it was just all together bad. Ordered wings and they were nasty. It was frozen gordon foods chicken nuggets. For $50 not worth it all. I had high hopes and aesthetically it looks fantastic. But they missed the mark with the actual quality and the accuracy of the order."

"3/31 - had the bacon onion cheese sticks w jalapeño….got near the end of them….and chewed right into a long piece of dirty blonde hair. as you can see in the photo, my hand is black and i guarantee u ion have straight long naturally dirty blonde dark hair so it wasn’t mines. no this hair was COOKED INTO. the bread. literally wish they had an option for zero stars. this used to be my go to place, but they have completely went down hill and i am never eating here again. i am saddened. but not surprised. also, they have become surprisingly racist throughout the years as well….done with nick’s edit: will be calling them soon abt this and getting a refund back. ion want no food remade, just gimme my money back"

"Yum! While visiting B. Nektar, our waitress suggested ordering from here. We purchased the wings, medium pizza and jalapeno bread. Delicious! Plenty of food for four hungry adults, w/a few leftovers. Would definitely order from them again. Our order was delivered much quicker than the hour wait time we were told on the phone. Happy our waitress recommended this place."
