La Terraza

"I recently dined at "La terraza", and unfortunately, my overall experience left much to be desired. While I appreciate the effort put into creating a pleasant dining atmosphere, there were several aspects that fell short of expectations. Firstly, the arrachera, a dish I was particularly looking forward to, was disappointingly tough and challenging to chew. Moreover, our interactions with the staff were limited, and the service left much to be desired. We only saw our server on three occasions – when she took our order, delivered the food, and presented the bill. Regrettably, she forgot to bring the tortillas, prompting us to seek assistance from another server. One more point of concern was the beverage service. I was surprised to receive a soda in a small plastic cup with no option for a refill."

"I've never been there. I went on Feb 9th. Finally I found the place. I called. Nobody answers. There was a small sign in the door saying that they would open the 8th. I do not know if there will be a next time."

"This is a very nice clean Mexican Restraunt in Southwest Detroit. I use to come here years ago with my mom. They have changed the name since then. Food is still good! Service was great and atmosphere good! You walk in and feel like they were awaiting a President. FYI...Entrance is in the front. Not at the door by side parking lot."

"I loved this place so much I ordered quite a bit and my server was super sweet I ended up getting a little bit of everything mostly the seafood but it was amazing, please don’t let the outside steer you away from this super authentic super delicious food. 5 stars for amazing service delicious food and great prices"

"If you're interested in a lively place that has live entertainment on weekends, consider LA Tarreza. It is a great restaurant to explore beyond the typical TexMex and venture into some traditional Mexican seafood choices. Very good, but not for everyone. I've seen other reviews that talk about poor service, but I didn't experience that. I did go on Sunday afternoon when it wasn't busy, so it may overwhelm the staff on a busy weekend night. If you want to discover a real Mexican restaurant in West Detroit, put this on your list. Parking is gated and has a security guard to make you feel more comfortable if you're new to the neighborhood. You're definitely not in Birmingham or Ann Arbor anymore."
