"Every time I visit Detroit, dining at Besa is a MUST! My family and I went for dinner last week, and again, it did not disappoint! My sister had never been so I wanted to introduce her to this gem! She has now also added Besa to her favourites list lol Huge shout out to our server Kristen! She was so kind and truly went above and beyond and accommodated our every need ( she even brought my son lemons without seeds after learning he is a maniac that eats lemons like apples lol ). We had a nut allergy at our table and she made us feel very safe with our choices, giving us suggestions and was very knowledgeable and knew her menu items! The ambience of the restaurant is like upscale- casual! I would definitely do a date night, friends night out, or special celebration at Besa! The FOOD!!!! OMG THE FOOD!!!! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu now and it is all so good! You can tell it’s made with love and that everyone in the restaurant puts care into every detail! Last visit my table ordered the manouri cheese with figs and the pulled lamb shoulder for appetizers, which both are two of my faves! Great for sharing! Then I had the village salad, which I did not share lol. For mains, I ordered the chicken thigh, my sister got the filet mignon and my hubby got the porcini mushroom ravioli, in which they shave fresh black truffle onto your pasta at the table! He said it was very rich but he still enjoyed it! We also ordered some cocktails that definitely packed a punch! Which is not a complaint haha We didn’t end up getting dessert because, well, we had no room left lol All in all, it was a great experience and they truly do an all around great job at Besa! I love a restaurant that not only has great food and atmosphere, but also appreciates and treats their patrons kindly and values customer service. 10/10 for me! Highly recommend!"

"This was mine and my husband’s first time here and it was so good. My favorites were the zucchini fritters, the truffle ravioli (the most unique ravioli I’ve ever had), and the raspberry dessert. It was all amazing and we will definitely be back!"

"Wonderful spot for dinner! One of the best in Detroit. We had such a nice elegant meal here. We sat in one of the booths and it was great. All the food was wonderfully prepared. The oysters and octopus were incredible. The kale salad and entrees were also great. The service was great, attentive but we didn’t feel rushed."
