"The food was authentic and great! The customer service was warm and welcoming. Don’t expect to get in and out fast food style service. Though the wait time is not long, it is appropriate time to know that your food is prepared fresh. Everything tasted good. The Soup Kandja was my favorite. We requested our food to be in takeout containers but we did dine in and carry the some with us (the portions are plentiful)."

"We are local, but we traveling a lot. We both love food, trying new things, trying different cultures foods, etc.. My wife was looking around for a lunch spot and we always try to find somewhere we haven't been. THANK YOU WIFE for finding me this GEM! This is the most authentic food, and place we have been to in or Michigan for African food. My wife ordered the maffeh with fufu and I had to try the jerk chicken! Keep in mind I usually dont eat chicken but the last time I had chicken it was jerk chicken and that was in Malta, lol. My wifes Maffeh was so tasty, the meat was so tender, and the fufu was just amazing. My jerk chicken was unreal. the chicken had so much flavor it was crazy. I'm still tasting the chicken hours later lol. The yellow rice and veggies that come with it are to die for! At the end of the day we ended up splitting everything. "Have you ever had Senegalese food? Because if not you definitely have to try this place out! I have to say I have never been to a restaurant where they are so consistent that the plate you get is literally the same one from the picture on the menu! I can definitely tell they have a talented chef in the kitchen because the flavors in the food are highly developed and always delicious. This has ended up being my mother’s favorite restaurant around, we have visited here maybe 10 times in the last three months! Me being a fish lover, the Snapper had to be my favorite item and I love their national dish, that rice is just too good! Definitely a great experience, if you want to try something new, try them!"

"Authentic African food. Only been here twice and planning to come here a few times to try various things on the menu. The incense or room freshener smell is a bit strong. The food felt authentic, had distinct smell in food.. Probably some spice or herb smell but hard to tell. Definitely recommend trying it out, wonder how African origin or senagalese people will rate the authenticity of the taste."

"Even though I am from East Africa, I never really tapped in to West African Food. And boy was I missing out! The food was spectacular and super flavorful, and I can't really think of anything negative about it. I am certainly going to return to this establishment when I get a chance to. The inside was definitely a vibe too, and the workers were really kind as well."
