"The food was cold, overcooked, unseasoned, and very expensive. From the size of the fish I am not certain if it was truly catfish. The oxtails were cold and bland. The cornbread was dry. It's a definite NO on eating here again."
"My brother ordered takeout from here and I must say it was sensational! From the Mac & cheese, black eyed peas, greens and the cornbread! The yams were a good texture and had a good taste to the sauce part but I wish it was thicker and stuck to the yams more. Now the smoked turkey leg!!! It was falling off the bone and the meat was so tender! I will coming back to visit this place again."
"I reeeeally enjoyed this place and I'm a hard critic. The staff was really nice and had posonality, the price is reasonable because I still had enough food to take home for later, and the food was awesome! Will definitely be going back again and again!"
"My mom and I had been waiting so long to finally get here, and to say the least I was disappointed however, the kool-aid was the sweetest. Our total was roughly $64. I got the catfish with grits and it came with gumbo, fried onions and chopped tomatoes. By the turn I sat down my food was completely cold. My catfish and onions were burnt & it tasted burnt so it was kinda hard to enjoy the meal. The grits & gumbo flavor was good the food was just cold. My mom got the turkey leg trio with Mac & cheese & greens. Again, the food was cold so it was hard to enjoy. The Mac & cheese had no flavor but overall the experience was nice."
"Stopped by for dinner and glad we finally did. The smothered pork chops were bomb and the yams were perfect. The layout is buffet style but not in the traditional sense, it’s NOT all you can eat but the portions were good."
