Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern

"Debacle. Apparently the restaurant was short staffed in the kitchen. We were only told there was a 35 minute wait for a table. While we were waiting, a server came and told the hostess she had to stop seating people because the kitchen was all backed up on orders. Yes we overheard this exchange. So I got up and asked the hostess if the 35 minutes was still valid? She said as soon as the kitchen was caught up, she could seat us. We would never had stayed had we been told any of this at the start, but by then we'd already waited 35 minutes. It was prime dinner time in a very busy area; good luck getting in anywhere else without a reservation. So we waited. We eventually got seated. But of course our food was horrible. No surprise. I got quesadillas that had almost no cheese, overcooked Tortilla and too much seasoning on the outside. My son got a burger with an underdone center he had to cut away. And of course we couldn't complain or send it back, because we didn't want to wait for re-cooks. Totally will not be back. And frankly mad we paid what we did. Oh, and they didn't have the fireplace on, and it was cold AF. My legs are still bone-chilled."

"My first time at this location , it did not disappoint. I had the Fish and Chips along with my friend Maureen, who suggested it. The waitress even asked us if we had any food allergies before she put the order in. That was refreshing, we both were never asked that at any restaurant. Our waitress was really pleasant and served us in a timely manner. I will be coming back again in the future."

"Came here for my work christmas dinner. The soy glazed salmon dinner was delicious. Great spot for a gathering, and the drinks were top-notch as well. Definitely will be coming again to take my family here. Try the spicy bloody Mary!"

"We went there for lunch and it was pretty good. The spear fried pickles were delicious. The double quesadilla was surprisingly good. It was on their appetizer section, but the portion was a good portion for a dinner or lunch. The sliders was reasonably price for the quality and the amount. I got the side of Mac and cheese it was ok.. to much bread crumbs and the sauce wasn’t thick.. over all not a bad experience and service was pretty good."
