"Good food. Very slow service. Took forever for the waitress to ask us for drinks. Waited over an hour for our food. Choose different location if possible"

"From the moment we walked in I felt the atmosphere was off. Waited for a hostess for a few minutes, too long seeing as they seemed to be fully staffed and only at half capacity. Finally greeted by a woman with a half smile and asked how many people, once she got our menus around, another scowling woman approached and appeared to be very upset that the first woman was trying to help us. Anyway, we were seated, then waited 5 minutes before a server came to take our drink order. By this time I had already vocalized to my family that I was not impressed with the service, which is very unlike me. Fifteen minutes later and we still did not have water, while seeing another table that was seated after us receive their drinks right away. The waitress did apologize for the wait when she brought them, we ordered our meals and she went on her way. While waiting I noticed other customers visibly upset with the service as well. The food did come out in good time. My meal was just okay, wouldn't say it was bad, but nothing about it was particularly good either. Waitress didn't ask if we'd like more drinks until our meal was over, by this point my son had already asked to finish my wife's water. Then came the bill, four 15ish dollar meals, an appetizer, and 2 drinks added up to 100 dollars. I regret not having looked harder at that knowing some of our meals were in the 2 for 25 or 2 for 35, but by this point I just wanted the experience over. I hate saying negative things, but I'm hopeful it will help bring much needed change. I'd also like to add that buffalo wild wings right next door had people parking in the grass and waiting to get in while Applebee's parking lot was at half capacity. Plenty of opportunity to be more successful."

"The booth was still mainly dirty when we were seated. They had moved the dirty dishes to the table across from us. (that pile grew over time) Took quite some time to get acknowledged, but bc we'd had the time, we put in the whole order. The food was good. Portions were off. The kids' fries had almost double the portion size compared to the adults. Both were served on the same-sized plate. They didn't seem short-staffed but rather poorly managed."

"Waited for 20 minutes just to order drinks. Table was covered in crumbs. They just scooted everything off the table over to the one next to it. We ate our entire meal with that pile of half eaten food next to us, which they continued to add to the entire time. They are clearly understaffed and not properly trained for work flow. Food was mediocre and very underwhelming for the price. I used to love Applebee's but it's definitely not what it used to be."
