"How does this place get the reviews it has? Cold, thin,dry cheeseburger. You can tell when it's fresh it tastes OK, but the fries? Again cold, dry fries with a slice of American cheese on top? I'm glad Nonla has a loyal following, I'm sure at some point they deserved it, but it's not for me. Y'all know 5 guys exists, right? We also aren't from Kalamazoo, so maybe it's a local thing."

"Great food. Lousy packaging. I just spent 15$ for this combo to go. When I got home, the burger had fused with the bag it was in, and my burger came out with half the cheese stuck inside. I called and let them know about it, and they said they "maybe" will change it. Well, I'll show you what my burger looks like, so maybe you can ask them to wrap completely when you get it to go so you don't have the same experience as I did. Edit: After leaving a message on their Facebook page, the owner got back to me and explained they are exploring new packaging options and will make sure staff is informed about properly packaging to go orders. Thank you, much appreciated. I have changed my review score with a little room for improvement when/if these packaging changes happen. Overall, I am pleased with how this problem was handled."

"Ordered lunch for my office and the order was not packaged separately. All the burgers were in one box and all the fries were in another box. Which makes them hot and sweaty and soggy. Ordered online and still didn’t get all the burgers correct. The patties were thin and still not cooked thoroughly."

"Nonla Burger is by far one of the best restaurants in west Michigan. It’s a very simple menu, but there’s plenty of ways to elevate your order. We’ve tried everything on the menu and nothing has disappointed us. We eat there all the time because we see their specials for the day on Facebook or Instagram and can’t resist going to try it. And there’s not a single special that hasn’t been out of this world. The food is amazing and it’s consistent. Consistent portion, consistent flavors, consistently outstanding specials and consistent quality. The service is always wonderful too. They’re friendly, they’re timely, they’re knowledgeable, and when you want to make your order your own creation — they’re happy to oblige and don’t make it feel like you’re inconveniencing them by doing so. For example, sometimes my husband wants just a good, simple chicken sandwich. Chicken, mayo, and lettuce. While that’s not on the menu, and they have to modify the order on their system quite a bit, they’re always happy to do so and check with you to make sure you’re getting exactly what you want. I will add that if you don’t like a lot of onion - order light onion on your burger. You get an entire horizontal chunk of an onion, not just a couple rings. I personally LOVE onion, so give me all the onion, but if you don’t like onion that much just order a little less :) or get it on the side so you can add your own! Put simply: Specials - amazing. Every single one of them Milkshake of the day - always amazing Burgers - delicious. Perfectly cook, excellent portion, and keeps you coming back for more Chicken Sando - unique, delicious, perfectly cooked every single time Hot chicken Sando - INCREDIBLE, and usually my go-to order. The house made pickles that come on it are outstanding. If you’re on the fence about spice, be cautious. It’s so delicious, but it’s chili based so it’s definitely got a kick. BBQ Chicken Club - get it with grilled chicken, get it with friend chicken, either way it’s delicious. Wings - SO GOOD Brussel sprouts - addictive I have the biggest folder of Nonla Burger food pics on my phone, and post about them constantly because it’s that good. Don’t walk, RUN to give Nonla Burger a try if you haven’t already!!! :)"

"I ordered the Nonla Chicken Sandwich combo and was not disappointed. The chicken breast and breading were some of the freshest I've had in a long time. The crunch of the breading and the juiciness of the chicken were top-notch. Their fries are also very good! If you haven't yet, give them a try (and have a fry)!"
