"Don't let the American flag on the omelets fool you! Full blown liberals run this place! I went to eat with my wife. I clock watch because I was a service manager at one time and I know the rule of thumb when it comes to waiting 13 .minutes before we were greeted. 20 minutes before we got our coffee. Forgot to give us cream and sugar 5 minutes later I finally asked to speak to a manager and my server said may I ask why? With a snobby attitude. I said I'd like a competent server. She slammed her hands on my table and flipped out on me saying they were busy. Um, If I only had 3 tables I'd run circles around you and help my peers too. The manager came over as if she was OK of I left. No apology for the massive amount of wait time just excuses. Food kinda sucked too soyeah, wont see me back here again. You have been warned!,"

"Very old-fashioned breakfast diner atmosphere. We had 5 people in our party and every dish on the table was exceptional. We even got a bacon syrup pancake to pass around to taste which was well worth the extra calories. The service is prompt and courteous. We will definitely be going back real soon."

"I had the Light You Up French toast and hubby had the barnyard burger - both were EXCELLENT!!! Karen was our waitress and was super sweet!! There are so many neat things to look at! Loved the whole experience - will be repeat customers !! And I got apple bread pudding to take home too ❤️"

"I highly recommend this place! We stumbled upon it after spontaneously deciding to get a late breakfast as we were headed out of town following a wedding. The food was delicious. We went in just hoping to get some eggs and pancakes but ended up ordering two of the breakfast specials that day. I ordered an apple bread pudding which was amazing, along with eggs and bacon (the bacon was cooked to my preference, even) and my girlfriend had one of the best veggie omelets she's ever had. Even the toast was great. Not only was the food great, the hospitality was unparalleled. I can honestly say that I have never encountered such friendly service anywhere else. Along with the above, the atmosphere was very charming, with all the antiques on the walls. There's tons of cool stuff to look at! I'll definitely stop back in the next time if I'm in the area again."

"If you have the time, even if you don’t have the time, find this great, tucked around the corner, gem of a cafe. You walk into a comforting atmosphere that has antiques and childhood memory items from ceiling to floor. The side room has a great collection of sock monkeys, antiques and a small John Wayne corner you have to see and appreciate. Move on to the server and how nice she was taking care of our table of 7, she was great. We were from out of state, Iowa, and visiting our family local to the area, this place was perfect for our catching up and visiting. The food was out FAST, spot on excellent, extra kudos for the homemade sourdough bread toast that they also sell fresh by the loaf. Some ordered omelets, others biscuits and gravy, some pancakes and hashbrowns. Every single option was great tasting and what I’d call large portions. I even heard my sister say, that’s good coffee, so there you go-stop in, say hi and order away-you can’t go wrong."
