"I struggled a lot with sending my girl to daycare as she had always been watched by my mom when I was working, but she clearly wanted more interaction with other kids. She has been thriving at Everbrook and I love being able to check in on her during the day via video. Her teachers have been very kind and take good care of her. Would recommend this place to anyone."
"Our daughter was in Everbrook academy for a year since she was an infant. This daycare is really neat, and has a great management team. Teachers are very caring and do a great job. They also have good ideas for activities and lessons everyday. We did not worry a bit about our daughter when she was there. Unfortunately, we had to move out of state so we did not continue after a year."
"It was our first experience as a family leaving our child in a daycare, and we chose this daycare center because one friend recommended us. The initial tour and process gave us big expectations, and we were enthusiastic about being part of the Everbrook Academy family. Unfortunately, our first day in Everbrook Academy was difficult and definitively, we don't recommend this place if you are looking for a lovely and secure place for your little one. 1) They don't have an onboarding program for a new student. We spend at least 3 hours filling all the forms that they gave us and explaining the personality of our little one and her necessities and it was a waste of time because they never considered our input to take action. They have to support the parents during this process to ensure that the kid and the family will have a first good experience with the teacher/place and help the child to understand that it's a safety environment. 2) Lack of empathy from teachers that support child during the process. Their policy says: "leave the child crying, and one day the child will understand that nobody will assist, and the child will stop crying". As humans, we express our emotions in different ways, and obviously we can't be crying for our entiry life, but what happen with the first experience?. It's obviously that all childs used to cry when they feel that something is wrong, but when they are supported by adults that talk, hug, or show the reasons to be there they finally understand that it's a safety place and it takes time and effort. We were looking by the camera, and our little one was doing really good, but when our child looks for the teacher and ask with her hands to have a hug the teacher ignore our child completely. We wait at least 1 hour to see what will happen and the teache ignore her during all that time. She was documenting that the child was "socializing" on her tablet when we clearly see she was asking for some confort. 3) They don't have a end-service/exit interview. We decided to go for our child after 2 hours. That time was enought to understand that it's not a good place for us. They didn't ask the reasons and, they simply said that the two weeks payment is one more of their policies. 4) Abuse of technology to show the parents the kids are fine. The teacher was the entire time taking pictures to show the kid crying, informing that the Kid finished all the food when in reality she didn't eat anything. I will prefer to build the trust between all of us with honest statements at the end of the day so we can work as a team and also make adjustments at home 4) not capable staff. The first thing the teacher said to my husband when he picked her up is that she has a medical condition that does not allow her to carry babies. If she is sick, what is she doing there? I'm not asking to keep my baby in arms all the time, I'm asking for comfort, pay attention to the kids. On her +20 years of experience she should know that there are plenty of ways to calm a kid and make him feel secure. Besides she got mad because we were not doing what she is saying when she clearly didn't know what is best for our baby"
"I can’t say enough about the staff at Everbrook Academy. Not only we’re they wonderful to work with as co-workers, they took care of my son as if he was one of their own. When he started in the Twos room he wasn’t talking much. Natalie reassured me not to worry and that his language will come. After just a few short weeks his language and vocabulary took off and he hasn’t stopped since! Seeing him develop in the 9 months he was with Natalie and Jackie and then Gail and Chyna in the Early Preschool was incredible! These teachers are incredibly caring and want what’s best for your child. The curriculum is wonderful and really fosters the children’s development. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my son!"
"Our daughter is has been attending Everbrook for several months now in the infant 1 room. We feel that she is receiving great care and we love getting photos and videos of her while we are at work. Update: 2 years later, our daughter is still at Everbrook and we now have a second child attending as well. They are doing well with updating standard procedures for safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. They did close for awhile this year but are typically very good about staying open during winter storms, etc so we have never had to figure out last minute child care. Also, we are impressed with the quality of education they provide. Others have commented on how much our daughter knows for her age and I give that credit to Everbrook. The teachers are great!"
