"Great atmosphere for starters. Nice jazz piano and interesting art and jazz memorabilia on the walls. The Cajun Creole menu is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the fried green tomatoes, the Catfish Acadian, and the Blackened Yardbird. I lived in a country with a non-western alphabet and language (Greek) as a teenager and I learned that in order to figure out what foods were at local restaurants, sometimes you had to look at what was at other tables. If you couldn't do that, you asked to take a walk thru the kitchen. Luckily, the neighboring tables had people who were more than enthusiastic about sharing what they ordered, and why, and what they liked about it. We felt like we made the right selections plus we have our next visit's meals already picked out lol. You definitely have to like spicy. Which I do. Which is not the same as hot. I like being able to taste the ingredients in the sauces. We plan on going back. It's nice to have an authentic Cajun Creole cuisine restaurant right here in La Porte County and that we don't have to travel all the way to the Big Easy to Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!"

"It's one of a kind atmosphere for a dinner in Laporte! Food, with a cajon flare, was excellent. I tried the southern steak, and it was tender and seasoned to perfection. Take your time and enjoy the entertainment and view of the course. When we visited, the musician was playing the piano and taking requests."

"This restaurant is situated on a beautiful golf course in LaPorte County, Indiana. The menu is soul food, and the chef is a renowned chef from Chicago. The food was simply amazing. We had a reservation, but there was plenty of seating, and they also had shady outdoor seating as well. The chef came out to ask how we liked the food Which was really nice of him to do. This is a place that is family friendly and is it’s also a place that you can go on a romantic date. After we ordered, It did not take long for us to get our food (and they gave us a lot of it too), so much so that we took our leftovers with us. The only issue I have is that someone went into the women’s bathroom and did their business and had the entire bathroom and hallway smelling of it. Thankfully, I was able to get the smell out of my nose by the time my food came. I would definitely recommend this restaurant because the food is great, the location and the views are beautiful and it was nice vibes. The hostess and our waitress were very nice, professional, and helpful. Now the menu is a little pricey, but it’s so worth it. I’d visit again and would recommended two friends."

"Beautiful quiet spot on a golf course. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was great. I had the Cajun shrimp gumbo and fried green tomatoes. It was very delicious. And the live jazz music was superb. I really enjoyed myself and will be back❤️"
