"February 26th, 2024 2:10pm I went through their drive through and ordered a #1 with a shake and a double with just ketchup. The order taking process was quick enough, no issues there. We waited for half an hour for our turn to pay with only two cars in front of us the whole time. As soon as we were about to drive off, it’s finally our turn to pay and did so then waited another few minutes. Our order was completely wrong. Went inside for a refund. Stood there for ten minutes while making eye contact with a cook handling different raw meats with the same gloves. Gross. Didn’t get helped, there was another customer from the car behind us that came in holding a bag looking frustrated. Turns out, they got our food and we had theirs! so we just switched our food bags. It was hard to eat knowing there may not be great sanitation."

"I came to the drive thru to order 3 shakes. One of which was supposed to be free for my daughter's birthday. My daughter had RSV and couldn't leave the house until today, which was also the last day to redeem. Upon opening the coupon in front of the young lady(I use the term lightly) she stated the coupon had already been redeemed. I explained that was impossible because my daughter had been sick. She said it was used multiple times. I said you know what I'll just get it. This is ridiculous. She then snatched my card from my hand. Then when given my card back I got no receipt. When she provided my order I said thank you. She looked at me rolled her eyes and turned away. I said thank you loudly through the window to which she looked at me and walked completely away. I tried to call 7 times to speak to a manager with no answer. I would have rather dealt with a manager than have to leave a poor review as I know how it can negatively affect a business. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service."

"I'm not fond of having to order my food on a computer monitor first off. Second they don't even bring your food to the table now. Third thing is they ask for a tip??? Why would anyone tip a place that doesn't have service anymore? The food was good but now the whole experience is like a fast food place instead of going in and sitting down and have someone come take your order and bring your food to the table... which would be a reason for a tip. I used to look forward to Steak and Shake but now it's not on my list of places that I look forward to going too."

"It's been a while since I have visited this location. I come here with my son all the time He loves the garlic burgers. This is our date night spot. It's almost sad to say how it looks from the outside. It looks terrible the awnins are gone and looked desolate At first I thought it was closed, but it wasn't. Sad to say the days of servers are gone. This use to be a bustling location with families and servers running around and it always felt alive..not anymore.. it so sad and empty. Once you walk in you have to order from a kiosk. No one greeted ys..kinda awkward..It wasnt very inviting and looked sad and empty. We ate indoors, it was empty and quiet. Customer service was non existent. We weren't greeted by anyone and it was a stark contrast to the past SNS. We ordered the garlic burger and fries and a shake and a bacon cheeseburger. The food was delicious and shake great. The quality still there and freshly prepared."

"This place has really went down hill & they had no waitstaff to seat you or even to take your order. You have to order only by keisk. You can only pay w debit, credit card or gift certificate because there's NO ONE To cash you out only the machines to do it yourself. The bathrooms were NASTY & the price of the burgers were crazy priced for the tiny bit we got. Paying over 10.00 for an onion burger w onion rings to only get 5 small onion rings & a bun soaked in grease. The cheese fries were cold & only half somewhat done the other half soggy raw. When we got there, we had no idea you seat yourself, pick up your food yourself & order food at a kiosk not even a welcome from the couple of staff that was there. Had to wait forever to get someone to give us our ranch that you pay for but they forgot to give us. It's like a ghost restaurant with no one to help you or ask any questions to. Better off eating somewhere else that you at least get greeted."
