"Want to send your child to a private Christian school but can't afford it? Then valley view is a perfect fit for you. They do everything just short of outright vocal endorsement of Christianity. My 2nd grade child was taught about the torture and death of Jesus Christ by her teacher. Principal shrugged off my complaint before I pushed harder only to have him agree that the story (which would have made my old Sunday school teacher cringe) was inappropriate, but then in the same breath disclaimed that Rockford is a Christian community, "especially Valley View". Rude, condescending and intolerant to people of different backgrounds and beliefs."
