"Foods good but used to be more affordable. For that reason I won't go back as much. Used to be pretty basic with menu but seems like their trying to be more gourmet. Still have the older menu items you've loved though."
"I waited at the speaker for 5 to 10 minutes for someone to ask me what I was going to order. I even called out hello, still no one heard or seen me on their screens from inside. So I pull up to the front window and a younger girl opens and says , "Oh what can I do for you love?" She shouldn't have been too busy because the place looked like I was 1 of 2 people that were there. The other person was sitting down eating their food already. But got my 2 burgers for my friend and I fairly quickly and as usual they were amazing. I just wish they could be a tiny bit bigger to have more satisfaction to my appetite."
"We used to frequent Mr. Quick, grew up with it. Unfortunately the wait times are awful now, if there are no cars in line ot will be a 15-20 minute wait, if there are any cars in line, I don't bother stopping any more. The food quality generally seems to be fine most of the time. A really pervasive issue has been the order accuracy. Even got a mushroom burger once where they didn't put the burger on it. I used to love how thick the shakes were, they're seldom that firm now. The employees are typically fine, service is just slow. My last complaint is that it is no longer a good value for your dollar. I don't go here if I need to feed the whole family."
"When we walked in the young lady at the cash register was also taking the drive thru order, which isn't a problem, if you are running a short crew, but it was like 5 people back there. So the problem became when she didn't let us know she was ready to take our order, so we stood around for a few minutes just waiting to be acknowledged. We placed our orders and my bun was not warm and my meat and cheese where not that normal Mr.Quick kind of warm. My partners food was hot but not fix to order"
"Looks like some changes were made to the menu. I welcome them. The combos restricted options. The new system of build your own burger and choose your own sides is much better. Similar to A LA carte dining. The shakes here are amazing. Very good flavors. You would swear that the mint shake was pureed Andes mints, delicious. Others in my dining party debated the flavor and texture of the cheese curds, with the concensus being that Mr. Quick beats Culver's all around. My chicken was juicy and delicious. So tired of all the deep fried /spicy wars amongst other fast food places. No spices to hide a sub par, dough covered, deep fried mess covered in sauce. My sandwich had fresh lettuce and tonatoes with cheese and crispy bacon. This was a very welcome change. Others raved about they're bacon burgers and shakes. The person who ordered the olive burger placed it on par with one of the better known and regarded smash burger food trucks in Grand Rapids. There was nice outdoor seating with handicapped acces and huge umbrellas that provided plenty of shade for the entire table. Indoor seating was more modern and built to accommodate a single occupant, couple, or larger party with movable seating that had a nice aesthetic unseen in normal burger joints. Cups and sides were in basic paper and cardboard with no styrafoam or plastic. Facilities and building were in great shape and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful with the new options available to us. Even patient as it took us all a while to contemplate our orders with all the great choices and variety. From wings and chili dogs to burgers and chicken sammies. They had everything. Even breakfast! I realize this location is a bit outside of Muskegon proper, but was a great afternoon treat for everyone. We will be going again soon."
