"We were really looking forward to the food and drinks here. And actually, the food and drinks were great. However, the service was such a big disappointment! And for restaurants to have poor customer service is something that should never happen! Some of us had ordered some beers and the waiter got the size incorrect. However, instead of leaving their mistake, they took away the drinks. It made no sense to waste those drinks! Also, we had ordered queso and chips and pretty quickly we ran out of chips. I asked for another basket and they never brought them. By the time I asked them again the kitchen was closed and supposedly they didn’t have any more chips! Running out of chips at a Mexican restaurant is just ridiculous. Instead of pretending to run out of chips they should have apologized. Again, customer service is so important in the restaurant business and this restaurant failed in this aspect. I would not recommend this restaurant. There are much better Mexican restaurants in Traverse City to choose from."

"Great tacos/bowls for the price! As a vegan, I'm a big fan of being able to customize your meal. Food has always been made quickly and correctly, except for one time which they quickly resolved! David is also one of my all time favorite servers, really nice dude! I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because the music in there is almost deafening."

"Decor is great and hard to miss even just walking by. Fun menu with variety of flavors you normally would not think about together. Loved the layered and stuffed tortillas, I mean seriously, wow!! Everything I ordered was delicious - I made the el pastor bowl into a taco w stoner shell, the el vegano and el jefe loco tacos. Yummy seasonal sugar watermelon Margarita-thingy. Will for sure visit again."

"We've been here twice now and have it enjoyed it overall. The tacos are great. They've got a solid list of favorites but you're also able to build your own The atmosphere is great and they've got a patio as well. Only downside is service. It's been mediocre both times we've visited.. long waits for refills, etc!"

"They made us some of the best tacos we’ve ever had! The stuffed shells were different and super yummy. We also ordered bloody Mary’s and they were phenomenal! Our server was extremely helpful and so friendly and the environment was unique and fun."
