"Great place, good people and amazing food. Traveled from Grand Rapids and got super service. The owner is very laid back and a cool guy"
"This place is incredible! We had the best time celebrating our daughter’s wedding after party here. Molly and Andrew were the best bartenders and huge shout out to Gavin in the kitchen for the much needed tasty food!"
"A friend and I stopped for a late lunch on the patio. The patio is very pleasant with a view of the water and surrounded by flowering plants. We shared the bruschetta appetizer that was excellent. I ordered the cherry chicken salad wrap and it was also very good. The wine list was quite varied, and the server helped with my selection and it was spot on! I would highly recommend the food and the service!"
"Great spot to go in the summer not too far off the water. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Usually a wait for larger groups especially on the weekends. A ton of draft beer selections and food was solid. Really enjoyed the Mac and cheese and the chicken wings. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Parking was available on the street."
"The terrace seating is great on a nice day so we took a table overlooking the lake and enjoyed the atmosphere. It was a busy summer Sunday and we were prepared to wait. Instead our table was ready in just a few minutes. Our order was taken promptly by an experienced server who seemed way too busy but was still coping. The other server was in the same boat and was less cheerful about it which played out in some inappropriate slamming and dragging when rearranging seating after a large party left. Everyone knows seasonal help is hard to find especially in hospitality and it was a little too obvious here. The menu is a notch above typical bar food. We chose smoked brisket in a sandwich and some nachos. It was excellent. Prices are in line with tourist areas at the height of the season. It was actually a good value especially given the lakeside setting. The reason they didn't get five stars is we were the only table in the direct sun that didn't have an umbrella to give us a little shade — we definitely would have been more comfortable. We understand — they were short staffed and in a lunch rush. But they could have at least offered and it still reflects on their service and the customer experience. It's a tough business in the best of times so we didn't complain or short the server's tip. And we would definitely go back just not during the peak of the lunch hour."
