"My daughter and I had never had authentic Indian cuisine and Aamchi didn't disappoint. Fresh ingredients and delicious food. The staff are lovely. We always prefer to eat local when traveling. This was perfect. Lots of gluten free choices and vegan choices. I will visit again."

"We came in tonight and had the butter chicken, chicken patiala, and lamb kabobs. The food was seasoned perfectly, and was absolutely delicious. The service was fast, attentive and very friendly. My first time eating Indian cuisine, and I am looking forward to our next trip back!"

"If you like Indian, go here. Service is incredible every time. I've now been there over a dozen times with different people, and each time, both me and guest have been impressed. The food is really good. I crave it all the time. I will say that some dishes have an acquired taste. It helps to know what your ordering. If you are like me and don't know Indian food, this can be hard the first time. Give something a try."

"Friendly welcome. Pretty quick to take order and bring out food. Excellent garlic naan, we did 2 orders because typically it’s so small but I think 1 order would have been plenty (as it should be). The spicy tikka - good lemony flavor that I enjoyed but.. Ordered medium per heat scale presented while ordering: but unfortunately had little to no spice. Perhaps that’s to accommodate for this area’s typical customer preference? But I did want proper Indian medium (5-7 on 1-10 scale) and wish places would ask for Indian or Caucasian heat preference. Tikka Masala was much better in the spicy scale, creamy with a medium viscosity. Reminiscent of proper Indian masala for sure. This is likely the best you’ll find around this area. Will return."

"Best Indian food in Northern Michigan! We came to visit after a social media post in Traverse City, where a few Indian residents claimed this really was the only authentic Indian food on this side of the state. It did not disappoint! Service was good and workers were kind."
