"I was turned down for service even though I was at the drive through several minutes before closing. The employee waited several moments to greet me by saying they were closed. The signs and lights all said open when I pulled up to the speaker. They then proceeded to stare at me driving away like they wanted to be proud of it."

"Disappointment does not even come close to our feelings about this location of Taco Bell. On 9-23-23 at 11:45 AM we stopped at this Taco Bell to eat. We waited at the cash registers for OVER five minutes and were seen by at least five people behind the counter in the kitchen area. No one acknowledged us, greeted us or was willing to take our order. Even after we asked if someone would take our order we were rudely told "NO - enter it yourself." I could claim this was racism (one of us is a minority) or homophobia (we were two men - and we are gay) but I will just say it is very BAD MANAGEMENT. All customers should be treated well. It should not matter what the race, orientation, politics, or anything else is when trying to do business. If the employees were turned off by the fact that we both wore Rolex watches, they should get over it. One was inherited on death of a parent and the other was purchased used. That should not matter. A good manager would train staff to treat everyone well. I'm sad that this happened in this day and age. We ended up leaving and eating across the street. (Great lunch $31.42 plus $10 tip.)"

"I was driving up to Mackinac Island and had an online meeting today at 1:30 and stopped in at this Taco Bell. It looked like some regional manager had just left and gave them all kudos for a job well done as I saw/heard them clapping afterward. These kudos are clearly well deserved. They were kind, courteous, prompt, the food was hot and they were so accommodating as I asked if it would be okay if I joined my online meeting in a corner of the dining area. 5 full stars."
