"My husband and I ate at the restaurant tonight and it was absolutely incredible! We split the brussel sprouts appetizer as well as the chicken marsala and it was amazing. This was the 2nd time we have eaten here and the food has been amazing both times- great presentation too! Not only is the food wonderful, the staff is so incredibly friendly and provide the best service. Last time we were here was over 4th of July week and it was super busy and today is was a slow winter day, but both times the food and service were wonderful. We can't wait to come back again, (and bring some friends) to one of our new favorite places in the north woods!"

"Absolutely wonderful place to stay! We went in the off season for them so there weren’t many people around but the grounds were gorgeous and the staff at the restaurant was very friendly with great food! I’ve always been a bit picky about the cleanliness of rooms when I travel so I am always wary but the Chanticleer cabins were one of the cleanest, most well kept places I’ve ever stayed! We will definitely be making the trip out again!"

"We were looking for a supper club experience. This is in some ways classic supper club... Old Fashioneds with proper muddling and non-marishino (?) Cherries. Excellent service, good breads, which I usually don't care about but these were wonderful, and a solid but welcomely-different entree plate: cod and sides."

"I honestly don’t know where to begin. From dollar lakes gorgeous beach, to the beer garden to the absolutely stunning northern aesthetic buildings that bring you back to the good times. Please eagle river protect this beautiful site at ANY cost. Don’t let it become like lake forest. When I think up north, I think Chanticleer, gorgeous lakefront dining with an old style fashioned bar with stunning views. Thank you to everyone that continues to keep this property in shape and give people like me the experience that I grew up with in northern Wisconsin. A MUST visit for anyone thinking of coming to eagle river."

"Great place to stay and eat! The new restaurant is fantastic and the beer garden doesn't disappoint(the kids loved the root beer on tap). Staying on property is great. They just added fire pits this summer, which we used every night and really made the experience great. Management is very attentive to any needs or requests. They have a private beach with swimming dock on Dollar lake, and the kids loved it. Docking a boat 50 feet from your cabin is awesome and the access to the chain is a great time every day! We will be returning every summer!"
