"Very friendly and fast service! Wish they would extend their hours slightly and would love to be able to request refills on an app but would still never go back to a chain pharmacy! Independents may not have all the frills but they more than make up for it with friendliness and customer service!"
"Very friendly staff and are also quick. Wouldn't go anywhere else for my pharmacy needs."
"I've been getting my prescriptions here for about a year now and I love this little pharmacy. The staff is friendly and quick. The only thing I wish is that we could request a refill online like the bourbontown pharmacy right down the street."
"I dropped off a script the day before it was due to be filled. I show up around 5:30pm to pick it up and the cashier tells me that my insurance denied the refill. I asked: here it is 5:30 and no one bothered to call and tell me?? She said: there's nothing wrong with picking your prescription up late but most people that fill this prescription have already called and are waiting on it. I said: I'm not most people!!! So I had to pay for some of the meds and contact the dr's office the next day, along with the insurance company. I contact Medicine Stop again and speak with the same cashier. I asked her to try and run the meds on my insurance again and the insurance company pays for part of the script but not the full script. So I asked her to give me a price for the remaining pills. I decide to pay for the remaining medication and told her that I will be down in about 45 minutes, so the prescription will be ready. She replies ok. I go through the drive thru and a different cashier gives me the price and it only includes the cost and amount that the insurance is going to cover. I explain to the other cashier that I should have another remaining prescription that I am also picking up. She comes back to the window and tells me that the receipt jammed on the second prescription and the original cashier is just now fixing that and it will be a few minutes!!!!! The pharmacist and owner of the shop has heard the original conversation and now this conversation. Not once has he apologized for my inconvenience but now he has made his presence known by following the second cashier back to the drive thru window and stands there while she checks me out!!!! He never said anything to me, just stands there!!! Is he intimidating me or listening to my conversation or what is his presence there for? He also is standing to the side of the cashier where I can't see him through the mirrored window!!! Needless to say that I won't be getting any additional prescriptions filled at the Medicine Stop!! I'm also going to call the pharmacist/owner and discuss the situation and ask him why was he lerking behind the cashier? It all seems a little odd and unnerving when an educated, professional pharmacist is behaving like this. What does that say for his personal behavior? Is it normal for him to show intimidation towards a female?"
"I absolutely love Medicine Stop. The pharmacist is amazing... very friendly and knowledgeable about your medication and eases any concerns you may have. She was on the phone with my insurance company for an hour and a half (my very first visit). That's patience and dedication! A small pharmacy with a family feel... one of the perks of living in a small town. You just don't get this kind of service at a 'Big Box' pharmacy."
