"Was in town for the night and had dinner there. It was so good we went back for breakfast before leaving the area."

"This is such a hard review to do because it is kind of like my thing with green beans, Jerry’s was the go to restaurant of my childhood, youth and adulthood. I don’t want to make this place better than it is, or hold it to an unreasonable standard of my memories of a different time and place. That being said here we go. I marked brunch because our group of six went late enough to order from both menus. We sampled some of the old favorites and some of the add on that weren’t around when our Jerry’s was in business. All the food was cooked properly, delivered timely and was tasty. This is a great representation of a small town diner. Now the hard core comparisons between this Jerry’s and the Jerry’s of my youth. The Champ is still the Champ even if the coleslaw is probably a food service product (add a little sugar and it gets closer). The breakfast was just as good and fresh and the biscuits and gravy was spot on. The Hot Fudge Cake made me want to go on to the Strand and watch Saturday Night Fever again, even if the whipped cream was on the sides and not the top (they made up for that little variation by giving you two cherries). Last but not least while the decor was different, smaller and brighter. The Rock Walls were still there. It makes me just a little sad to think that our Rock Walls now sit empty waiting for this generation of children to run their hands along them while playing with their crayons and menus."

"Food was delightful. Was extremely crowded and loud! The food arrived quickly despite how busy they were. *edit* We revisited to try the lunch menu because we already tried breakfast. My family of 4 spent $64 and the food was not good. Tasted like frozen bags of food. Mac and cheese was very watery, pie crust was dry, meat on the club sandwich wasn’t great quality, but my son enjoyed the hamburger."

"Took the family for breakfast this morning. The food was good, very typical diner style meals. Will be back to try out lunch! I came back to edit my review, as we came back again. It was 5 stars but I really was less than impressed with our service today. Service wasn't exactly friendly or welcoming. We placed our order, got our food...and then our server just never came back. We eventually just walked to the front counter to pay so we could leave. I could understand if the restaurant was packed and super busy, but it wasn't. The food was decent, I wish you guys made homemade gravy."

"This is the last remaining of the Jerry‘s restaurant chain. As far as I know no others exist in the United States. Just going in for the nostalgia is worth the trip. We found the food was flavorful and they had a good assortment of items to choose on the menu. The waitress and service was friendly and they have excellent sweet tea. Our lunch was delayed due to a printer that had run out of ink so the waitress gave us all free desserts and they were all very good. I thought the cod with the breading was very tasty and I enjoyed the flavor of the breading. The broccoli casserole was also good. The chicken fried steak was exactly what you would expect and the mashed potatoes with gravy was acceptable. All in all we all agreed that it was a good meal at a reasonable price and they also have special portions for seniors at a reduced cost. So if you’re interested in visiting an iconic restaurant dating back to the early 60s this is worth a visit."
