Parma Lapidary Club

"I am about a year into my lapidary journey. It's been a sporadic journey and I wish I checked out the Parma Lapidary Club sooner. It's nicely set up with plenty of cabbing machines and saws. Well lit with members willing to help you out on your lapidary journey. So far everyone has been very welcoming and nice. I've been there twice so far and look forward to more rewarding visits as I bought a membership. Very affordable membership and rate for daily use of the machines. It's only $5 a day to use their stuff. Anyone mulling over their decision to get into the lapidary arts, come check it out here! "This is a very interesting place. You can learn very many different things to do from cutting out different kinds of stone and wire wrapping them. I have only been there once, but I am planning on going back several times. It is worth your time to stop in and see this place."

"*CAUTION* Another typical Ohio experience, for me! Apparently, they have had experiences with people learning then, leaving the "Club"! This was angerly express to me, I was loudly talked at... as if i were a child!!! I was also loudly and angerly told... I'm going to have to pay more for a class that's part of the membership! VULTURES... BEWARE... It definitely isn't a friendly environment... I'm guessing... they have their members and everyone else are donors for their "cause"!!! For the record... I paid for 2 year membership and an additional $50 for the workshop!!! My advise... learn on your own, don't ask for advise, use the machines for what you have to do and get out of there!!! Maybe... they perceive everyone as competition... For me, I was just trying to make a ring or pendant for an anniversary present! Now, there are friendly people but those VULTURES will destroy the experience!!!"
