"I go here pretty regularly every few months but lately it seems like they don't have a good selection many of the things are the same items. Also few damaged items more than normal. Overall I'll still keep going cause I have found really neat things."
"My one experience with Black Friday lasted about two minutes. I witnessed a uniformed police officer shouting at an older lady who appeared to want absolutely nothing to do with the situation. Upon witnessing this, I turned around and walked back out the door. From all the previous reviews I've read, this seems to be a common issue here. There are far better ways to resolve whatever issue may have been going on instead of SCREAMING at someone over $3. Shame on Black Friday and its management for not only tolerating this behavior but serving as an enabler by paying this cop to behave in this manner. All I'm going to say is this: the Mooresville Police Department is right across the street. If even they don't want anything to do with this place to the point that the management has to go 20 miles away to find a cop who's willing to engage in whatever I and many others have witnessed, that should tell you all you need to know."
"reposting this from two years ago since they blocked my post from being public : DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE AT ALL! Drove 2.5 hours from where i live to come here from seeing them on a TikTok that claimed they sell unopened, unclaimed mail/packages. You get into the store and everything is literally thrown into dirty bins that turn your hands BLACK! Almost all of the items are cheap items from DOLLAR GENERAL. They charge $5 for a small items that originally come in a box of multiple, like granola bars that would come in a box. They open them and then They will sell you one single granola bar for $5. There’s tons of trash and broken items. They sift through the packages and take out anything of value and then repackage them in unmarked boxes or bubble envelopes with the exact same label on all of them. They have a very rude police officer named Tammy Adair, who assists there as an employee NOT a police officer because she is out of her Jurisdiction. If you find a package that was already opened the police officer Tammy Adair, will come up to you and basically harass you and will snatch it out of your hand, take it up front, open the package completely, and then come back to you and claim that you stuffed the package because it had random items in it, and then refuse to sell any of those things to you, because “that’s not how they came packaged”, according to the Police officer Tammy Adair. Then when you try to talk to the manager about what the police officer Tammy Adair did, The manager will say that they will sell each individual item that was in that package to you for $5 each, so i said well that’s not what Tammy Adair said to me, she said that you guys are refusing to sell anything to me in that package because apparently there was a tooth brush in a package with a knock off pair of $13 i12 airpods from walmart, the police officer Tammy Adair will interrupt you, and she will lie and say she never said any of that to you nor did she snatch anything from you and won’t give you a chance to talk at all to the manager, without her input. Then tells you if you have a problem with it that you can take it up with the manager. But won’t give you a chance to talk, so when you say you are trying to talk to the manager but the police officer Tammy Adair won’t shut up, the police officer Tammy Adair will immediately tell you to leave because shes not gonna tolerate being disrespected, and when you try to say oh but it’s okay for you to disrespect me by accusing me of package stuffing/stealing, she will then threaten to arrest you in front of your children. Arrest me for what? Saying that if she would shut up? I never told her to shut up. We have a video recording of the whole ordeal. Then she proceeded to kick my husband out when he said to me, it’s okay just take the kids out to the car and i’ll pay for everything” and the police officer Tammy Adair looked at him and said since your gonna be disrespectful too you can get out as well, then proceeded to look at my husband and say, you know where the door is, there’s the door, go on get out or i’ll arrest you in front of your kids. All while she was standing in his way blocking him from being able to grab our children. Very disrespectful, distasteful, and rude, I will not be returning. At all! Buyers beware!!"
"This store sells Amazon, FedEx, UPS, etc... returns. They restock the whole store on Thursdays when they aren't open. On Fridays and Saturdays everything in the store is $5. And by Wednesday the price works itself all the way down to 25¢ for each item!! What a steal!! I would say most of the stuff is junk. But... Not everything is!! I found a few items that were worth more than $10 and one that was worth almost $60!! I will most likely come back, maybe on a Wednesday, so I can spend money on stuff I definitely don't need, because it's only 25¢. 10/10 I would definitely recommend!!"
"It was interesting. Bins are filled with return goods people decided against. The manufacturer doesn't want it back so it's left up to Amazon, or other stores, to decide what to do. The obvious choice is to see if there is money that can be made. From locals who were there with me the word is be there opening minute on Friday. This is where you get electronics and other sweet items for only $5.00. I went on a Thursday and even though I did find a couple items I could tell the good stuff was gone. For my lady followers this will be a fun shopping/scavenger hunt. Have fun!! For my male followers there are tools and other items we as men find useful. Happy hunting!!"
